Abbiamo soggiornato al Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto e possiamo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero splendida sotto ogni punto di vista. Un ringraziamento speciale va a tutto lo staff, in particolare a Irene, Valentina e Gennaro, che con la loro gentilezza, disponibilità e attenzione ci hanno fatto sentire davvero accolti e coccolati durante tutto il soggiorno. È raro incontrare persone così professionali ma allo stesso tempo così sincere e cordiali.
La struttura è impeccabile, pulizia perfetta e ambienti sempre curati con grande attenzione. Anche la colazione è stata eccellente, ricca, varia e con prodotti di qualità, e lo staff della sala colazione è stato sempre gentilissimo e attento.
La posizione è semplicemente meravigliosa, in pieno centro e a pochi passi da Piazza Tasso, comodissima per muoversi a piedi e godersi appieno Sorrento. Il giardino è un angolo di pace davvero incantevole.
Se fosse possibile dare più di 10, lo faremmo senza esitazione. È stato tutto perfetto e questo soggiorno resterà per noi un ricordo davvero speciale. Torneremo sicuramente, con grande piacere.
Clean rooms and bathrooms. Location is convenient
A/C was broken and the staff just refused to accept that it was broken and kept making up reasons. Firstly, we had booked a basic room however, during check-in, we were told that there was a free upgrade available and we were offered the deluxe room instead and there was no mention of anything about the A/C being broken/not functioning.
We were also offered 2 complimentary "Welcome Proseco" drinks.
When we first entered the room we found it to be well made and clean. In the evening the weather turned slightly warm and when we tried to switch the AC on, it did not work. When we called the reception, we were initially told that they had accidentally turned it off in the main control and that they would turn it in a bit and that the AC would start working in a bit. An hour passed and the AC never worked. We tried calling the reception again and we enquired again and at first they said they would send someone but we got a call back almost immediately saying that the AC was not turning on since it's still in winter mode.
We just stopped asking after this. The hotel reception staff was not at all helpful. Breakfast was awful with almost no option for vegetarians except cereal and fruits. Crappy place for an exorbitant amount of money. I would never want to visit again.
At the very least I would have appreciated some honesty in them admitting that the AC was broken. Instead they made us wait endlessly and we really did not sleep well one entire night since the noise from the vehicles was too loud since we kept the window open to help cool the room. Overall, very disappointed for the money paid.

A legfelső emeleten laktunk, onnan egész jól lehetett látni a tengert is.
A reggeli nagyon bőséges, de mindennap ugyanaz, és egy héten át nem volt pl egyszer sem halféle (tengerparton!).
Ráadásul inkább a süteményekre mennek rá, sós étel a választék max 20%-a, inkább kevesebb. Van vagy 20 féle sütemény, de csak 3 féle felvágott, abból is csak egy baromfi, a másik 2 disznó.
A berendezés végtelenül minimalista és funkcionális, semmilyen meleg, otthonos hangulata nincs sem a recepciónak, sem a szobáknak. Dél-Olaszországban mást várnék.

Staff offhandish, facilities not open during our stay, restaurant and pool plus pool area, so view not available. We were not made aware of the fact that restaurant closed for lunch and dinner, no room service option.
We decided to leave a day early from our 4 night stay and no deductions were given.
I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely central hotel, we got an upgrade on arrival the room was lovely, good variety of foods for breakfast, reception staff very helpful, free glass of prosecco on arrival which was lovely.
There was air con in the room but it wasn't switched on through the night tge room got very hot, the main road outside the hotel was very noisy with traffic, on our departure day the lift didn't work which wasn't helpful with us being on the forth floor with cases, the mattress was a bit hard for my liking.

La struttura è molto bella, il personale è molto preparato ed organizzato. Il servizio colazione è super, sia per il personale che per la qualità dei prodotti offerti. La cena in hotel è stata un ottima scelta, ogni sera un menù diverso comprendente più opzioni. La posizione è ottimale. Consigliatissimo
A lovely warm welcome, Unexpected room upgrade , Large comfortable room, good view, very clean. Hotel is in a great location to explore Sorrento.
Because of the early season the pool and roof top bar was not open ( But we were here for sight seeing not to go swimming)
