The staff are super friendly and helpful, honestly the stand out. They know what they are doing and it just makes everything easy. The location is also excellent. A flat 15-20 min walk from the railway station and right on the water so you can stroll to pretty much everywhere. And a coffee machine that does espresso for breakfast was fantastic!
The room was tired and my ‘view’ of the moss and lichen growing on the tar roof and airconditioning unit was a little depressing. The bathroom shower head slipped a lot and this isn’t ’hair friendly’ but not a huge deal. No sheer curtains meant I had the option of pitch black or putting on a show to get dressed. In Finland in summer, blackout curtains are essential so that’s good, but unless you want to live like a mushroom adding some sheer curtains to allow natural lighting without exposing yourself to the people on the street would be useful.

Puhelimeen vastannut "yökkö" oli loistava asiakaspalvelija.
Kerroin että olen tulossa yövuorosta ja menen nukkumaan. Kuitenkin huoneeni oli lähellä hissä ja kadunpuolella. Huoneeseen kuului kaikki käytävältä sekä kadulta, ikävä kyllä. Sänky oli huono. Siinä oli kuoppa.

Dybt skuffende at hotellets restaurant lukker køkkenet kl. 20 på en søndag samt at det unge restaurantepersonale lod os vente 10 min på at få besked om, at der var lukket for køkkenet.

Excellent breakfasts, breakfast staff lovely. Beds, bed linen and towels immaculate. Reception staff very helpful. Great view from my window.
The shower was over the bath. I am no longer young so a walk-in shower would have been ideal.
