I stayed for work due to its good location and it being an Autograph Marriott - generally known for higher quality. What I got was worse than a motel. The staff were incredibly nice but the hotel is a disaster. I arrived at 1:00AM and was thirsty after my flight. They had no water, no vending machine and no store to purchase anything - even water. The room itself is total trash. It looks like it was meant to be a condo and they decided to make it into a hotel. The water temperature handle for the shower was broken and all the finishes were cheap and deteriorating. For breakfast, they ran out of eggs and the spread was about what I’d expect for a grade school cafeteria.
I was really excited to try out this hotel during a trip to see Cirque du Soleil at Atlantic Station. The pictures of the hotel make it seem like it'd be a perfect fit. Modern, urban, industrial, designer, and branded as an Autograph Collection hotel which are usually right up my alley because "passionate design" is part of the brand ethos.
What the hotel delivered was a property that felt (and looked) like a low-rent apartment building with the cheapest of builder-grade finishes, dorm room quality furnishings, and mismatched lighting color temperatures, all of which were poorly maintained.
If the room had looked like the photos on their website, it would've been great, but several furniture pieces are gone, there's no throw pillows or accessories, and I could tell maintenance has replaced original pieces with "whatever they could find"...including light bulbs. Any designer knows that luxury properties should have 2700 or 3000 K lighting, and this property mixed that with 5000 or 6000 K which was really off-putting and didn't make it feel comfortable or welcoming.
Time has not been good to Atlantic Station. What used to be a thriving and well-kept development now is poorly maintained, lacks open shops, and just generally feels stuck in decades past. The same can be said about this property. It hasn't been maintained well, any renovations they've done were done cheaply (and maybe even without proper designers), and the property now is just sad.
It is not worthy of an Autograph Collection label!
I will say, the staff I encountered were nice, pleasant, and accommodating when I asked to move rooms to the type I had booked, That was literally the only redeeming quality of this hotel.
I would not stay here again unless the rooms and guest corridors had a massive renovation to erase the years of neglect. The property has great bones with the glass, concrete, and unique room layouts. It just needs love!
Needs a complete overhaul. The restaurant is under construction (going from Italian to Indian cuisine). The hallways are marred and in spots on my floor, don’t linger, as you are likely to develop a contact high. Whole place feels very sketchy.
Thank you Twelve Midtown team for showing such southern hospitality @Tina I see you :) Central location with shopping/dining possibilities in the direct vicinity. The hotel bar/restaurant is great especially the homemade lemonade #LemonadeBySky the best!
Thank you!
Amazing space and location. Top tier guest service. Really great experience.
I loved the apartment feel but the amenities where not so good. The TV was on the fritz the entire stay the bathroom door knob was broken which once notified got fixed pretty fast. The property was really beautiful it was just small inconveniences.
Loved my stay, I will be coming back.
Amazing area and a lovely 4 star hotel. My only gripe is the in house bar (she admitted to not knowing how to make the drinks and it took 40min until I decided to cancel my order) and the front desk was giving me issues about my debit card when I was checking in and I’m not sure what that was about. They kept saying they don’t take “3rd party cards”.
I am very disappointed in Midtown Twelve Autograph hotel. I’m writing this at 3:30 AM—the windows/walls are paper thin and I have not been able to sleep because of the constant noise coming from outside—someone has been shouting ALL.NIGHT.LONG!!! In addition to the constant sound of cars, reving their engines, and a train already twice this evening (11 pm and 3:30 AM), it’s impossible to sleep.
I agree with other comments on how out dated the room furniture is in the place, especially for the price and the bedding is not to the Marriott standard—I usually get the best night’s sleep when I stay at a Marriott and I’m so regretting that we booked three nights here!
Everyone at the hotel was very accommodating and helpful. There was a problem with one of the doors in our room but there was a maintenance person named Robert that worked there that went above and beyond to make the situation right by the next morning of my stay. Location was also great.
I loved it here ooommmmgggg! Thank you Destiny at valet!

Not safe, key cards randomly don’t work(got stuck in elevator).
Inconvenient, MONEY DRAIN and includes very little.
Noisy- very, walls are thin.
Just great!
Staff was extremely friendly especially Tina from the front desk.
Quin the front desk representative was excellent. He helped him with everything that I needed and it was a great experience. Thank you
The staff of the hotel is wonderful and warm. The lobby and restaurant are fantastic. I was very disappointed with the condition of the rooms. The mattress squeaked and felt old and not supportive. The sofa had tattered over-worn fabric. The furniture was not in good condition overall. If Twelve undergoes a major room reservation I will gladly return.
Twelve Midtown was everything! It’s located near shops, restaurants, and even a grocery store. We stayed for three nights during Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter weekend and the location wasn’t too far from the Mercedes Benz stadium. It’s very clean and the decor gives a modern feel. The full kitchen and in-unit washer & dryer are a plus and it made it feel like we had everything we needed in one location. The beds were comfy and clean and I lovedddd the floor to ceiling windows and balcony. This will definitely be my go-to stay whenever I’m in the Atlanta area.
Friendly and great service. Kay helped me everyday I ate at the restaurant. Remembered what I ate and liked always on top of it!
