Cons:

There were no wash cloths, no complimentary breakfast even though they say they have breakfast online. I had to force the room door to lock. I was told I couldn’t get a first floor room because they had to fill up the 3rd & 2nd floor first ( I had 2 sleeping toddlers ). Also the name is “ Halstead inn & suites” not comfort inn

NOT GOING BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN!

I did not like anything about this place.

Cons:

The hotel name supposed to be Comfort Inn but it was Halsted Inn. Customer service is ridiculous. They did not have any wash clothes available. The tv did not work. The bathroom shower had hair and dirt in it. Had to call the front desk to help locking my door. I had to press my body up against the door real hard. They don't serve breakfast as it was in the description. Had to wake up the front desk clerk to check me out.

It was like an interesting puzzle. One with missing pieces.

Cons:

An employee came into my room at 4:30 A.M. after being once before moved from a room with broken handle lock; walked right throught the deadbolt, which was damaged to malfunction, passed the bathroom on our 3 of 3, the last night of out 3 approved days. We we slept 1:30 hrs lur last night and were forced then leave, with no refund. He even forgot my security deposit, which i had to drive, and cash pickup. An hour drive by the way. You can not make this up. The GM was unprofessional, a novice, and the handle bolt lock didn't work in one room during my stay,bolt lock did. Stayed two nights in that room without a fridge, nor a microwave as paid for; necessary to fridge my insulin, plus arthritis steroid medication; then moving to the 2nd room during the night, settled in at about 9:30 pm, startled out of my body almost at 4:30, only to be whisked away at 4 pm conversing with the GM/staff.

Poor customer services, when I was doing my booking the ad stated that breakfast is included and there was no breakfast, they left one towel in the bathroom and I had to ask for extra, no shampoo and no lotion in the shower.

I was informed on site that breakfast was included, unfortunately it was not. Understandable due to remodeling conditions so I let that pass.

Cons:

Floors weren't fully cleaned, or mopped. Beds had stains and burn holes from previous travelers. Pillows on beds also had hairs and crumbs and stains as well. Couldn't get the TV to work. Shower had hairs in them. Fridge wasn't properly defrosted not cleaned properly. Couldn't even use the freezer because of the huge block of ice. Overall it looked nice when you walk into your room but even small details matter, like walking barefoot on crumbs on floor ect. You can never judge a book by its cover, meaning it looked nice but wasn't really up to part.
