Loverly place to stay
Pros:

We stay in a one bedroom apartment on the second floor for three nights. The apartment was so spacious, probably one of the biggest we have stay in. Reception staff were very friendly. The room was clean & comfortable with the added bonus of a balcony (pity it rained the whole time we were there). The kitchen had the basics for cooking and a dishwasher. There is a laundry that is shared between two apartments. The grounds are lovely and well kept. There is secure parking onsite. The room backed onto the train line and highway but the double glazing certainly helped with the noise. I brought a problem up with reception which was acted upon. The location is in the town centre with plenty of eateries around. If you are looking to have a high-tea try Bygone Beauty or The Carrington Hotel.

Cons:

Please be aware there are no lifts, so this could be a problem with luggage if staying longer. Also the shower is over a spa, which could be a problem for some people due the difficulty in getting out of the spa.

Maintenance of that room required
Pros:

We paid for the breakfast voucher which gave a slight discount. Meal was pleasant. Theme surroundings in retro-diner was interesting. Staff were pleasant

Cons:

The carpet in the room appeared to have been spot cleaned in a large swirl close to one side of the bed leading to bathroom. Still had a damp to wet feel and was the significant detractor. Other items would help for a short stay - no tea towel or scissors to open dish washing liquid, cutting board, tongs adjustment of cupboards to allow closing. The atmosphere at time outside was quite misty, towel’s didn’t dry as a result. Bed was comfortable and aircon allowed for comfortable temperatures

Pros:

Bit of a walk from parking if you have lots of cases eg overseas tourist but otherwise convenient to eating and not to much further for tourist busses if you dont have your own transport.

Cons:

Self closing doors were hard to open particularly when carrying something.

Cons:

Door jammed, spa not working. No AC in the room and smells musty. Needs an upgrade. My mom’s unit have bad carpet too.

Very close to train station and restaurants
Pros:

Great location and friendly staff. There is also an option for late check-in and baggage storage.

Cons:

I didn’t feel very safe with the door lock and think an additional security feature would be helpful. The room was a bit smelly and could use some renovation. Overall, the price felt too high for the standard.

Pros:

Location was terrific. The apartment was comfortable and the garaged parking was awesome.

The bathroom fan doesn't work and the bed is so uncomfortable.

Pros:

Great location, short walk to shops. Spacious room with kitchenette facilities. Undercover secure parking.

Cons:

No lift, had to carry luggage up a large flight of stairs and through two heavy, self closing doors to get to my room. Not good when you're on your own.
