Excellent stay
Pros:

Location for exploring the area is excellent! The private beach was lovely. Staff very smiley and friendly. Hotel was spotlessly clean!

Pros:

El personal muy malo, no resuelven ningun tipo de problema. Los mozos y bañeros atentos, pero el perosnal del front desk muy malos.

Cons:

El personal de la recepción. Las habitaciones estan bien de tamaño pero es un hotel viejo. El ascensor lo tenes que esperar mas de 5 minutos para bajar dos pisos. En mi caso no podía ir por las escaleras

Lovely stay in Puglia - Hotel del Levante
Pros:

We are just back from a beautiful week in Puglia. The Hotel del Levante was a perfect base for a holiday exploring up and down the coast. We also enjoyed some lazy days by the pool and walks along the beach. We stayed between 2 June - 9 June 2026 (outside of the English school holiday period), and while the hotel had a few tour groups staying, the pool area was usually quiet with plenty of sun-beds available all day. We found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed a relaxing stay. I would recommend the Superior rooms - worth the extra for me.

How This Hotel Earned 4 Stars Is Beyond Me
Pros:

Pros: The hotel is located directly on the beach.

Cons: Unfortunately, almost everything else fell short of expectations. After staying at five hotels throughout our honeymoon across Italy and Greece, this was by far the most disappointing experience.

From check-in, it was clear that guest experience was not a priority. The service felt cold and transactional, and there was little effort made to ensure guests had an enjoyable stay. The overall atmosphere was one of doing the bare minimum rather than providing hospitality.

We booked and paid for a Garden View room, yet the room we received looked nothing like the room category advertised on the website. The room itself felt extremely dated, the breakfast was disappointing, and basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were not provided.

For a property marketed as a 4-star hotel, the experience was surprisingly underwhelming. Between the room quality, service, amenities, and overall lack of attention to the guest experience, we left wondering how this property maintains its rating. The beachfront location is the hotel’s only redeeming quality.

Had we known what to expect, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere.

Great hotel as base for local historical visits
Pros:

We really enjoyed our week's stay at this hotel, on a tour with Newmarket Holidays. The hotel is quite large – enough to accommodate easily three groups the size of ours (50) at the same time. Not a carpet in sight – all ceramic tiles. The room is absolutely fine, spotlessly clean and serviced every day by the “chamber maids”. The entire hotel is immaculate, and at dinner each day there is no providing of popular, international Italian food clichés; it is all local forms of pasta, regional recipes and local produce.
The dining room had special arrangements for our party. You al sit at a table for 2, and there you stay all week. At breakfast each day a menu is put on your table and you make your choices out of two options for that evening. There are 4 courses. For instance, on the first evening, we started with a help-yourself salad, with some bread-crumbed balls; then there was saffron rice (which tasted a bit like rice pudding); bombette – a rolled pork “capocollo” (a bit dry, and not really moreish); and fresh fruit pieces. Some in our party had problems at the reception desk, but we had none.
It is about a 15-minute walk along the sand into the little village of Torre Canne, but there's not much to do there; it's just about coming into a tourist boom.
