Hotel Park Novecento Resort

The building is an old mansion tastefully refurbished. The grounds are very good and there is an excellent swimming pool. It is in a good location near Ostuni. To get into the main square is a 30 minute walk, or a 20 euro taxi ride or you take your car. Rooms are very comfortable with nice patios with views over the gardens. Breakfast is good with a reasonable choice and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant is only open for breakfast which is a pity as after a day sightseeing you may prefer to dine in but that is not an option. Reception staff are very helpful and professional. Besides checking in and out they also provide a bar service, arrange taxis and recommend restaurants. This a very comfortable and welcoming hotel with its lovely building and grounds. I would happily stay here again in the future.

We arrived in Ostuni on the 30th August and booked into a hotel that did not live up to expectations.

On Saturday the 2nd we had suffered enough and decided to move.

We were fortunate to find the Novecento and what a find it was. I was greeted by Sonia who showed me round the rooms and I made my choice. I then collected my wife to get her thoughts and as we drove up the drive, she said 'I want to live here!!'.

The hotel is fabulous!! We were offered an immediate coffee by the lovely Anna, who made coffee, breakfast, lunch & rinks though out our stay.

There are lots of details to admire. Reception is 'old English' and there are loads of quirky bits & pieces to admire. There are lots of exposed rocks that add real character and the common parts are very tastefully lit & decorated.

The hotel itself is beautiful and looks like a traditional Italian Palazzo.

We moved into our room with a fab bathroom (the shower is set into a rock-wall) and the bedroom was large, brights and clean. We also had a private terrace.

The pool is gorgeous and as it is a small hotel it does not get crowded.

The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and it also helps that it is only a 30 minute walk from Old Ostuni!!

All of the team (Sonia on reception during the day, Giorgia late afternoon, early evening and Luigi at night plus Massimo are all delightful. Nothing is too much trouble and you are always greeted with a smile. Raffaella does a great job at keeping the rooms clean and up to scratch and Anna (see earlier) is a superstar!!

If you want a wonderful, romantic stay in a fabulous hotel in Ostuni then do not look elsewhere!! You will not regret it!!

The hotel has character and most of the staff are attentive and try their best to help as much as they can.

The one thing that ruined our stay is that the Hotel is understaffed and they do not provide guests 24 hr access to the Hotel. Despite advising reception we were attending a wedding and we needed to get back at a specific time. Upon our return we were left locked outside of the front gate stranded.

In my wedding suit I had to climb over the gate to access the hotel. An absolute disaster, and potential health and safety risk.

My wife was distraught, we informed the reception the next morning and all that was provided was a mere sorry. They didnt even keep to the agreement of not charging us for that night.

A real shame as the hotel had so much potential.

We only spent one night at this wonderfully atmospheric hotel but we will definitely return and stay longer. The ambiance of the place is like something from an Agatha Christie novel. Beautiful old building with immaculate grounds and a beautiful pool. We were in a superior room with a terrace. Very comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom. Breakfast was good. The main selling point of this place though is the wonderful staff. They were warm, kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. What a wonderful end to our trip to Puglia

Firstly, I have to thank the staff for their excellent service! All of the members of staff were extremely helpful and upon check in I was given a tour of the property. There is a lot of pride in this hotel, and guests are accommodated for. This is like staying at a beautiful Italian Villa. The room was very adequate, it did have in room air conditioning, although I do wish it had been a bit stronger. I’m sure if I had spoken to the staff they would have been accommodating in some Fashion. I’m just grateful they had an air-conditioning unit! The bathroom was beautifully remodeled and was very modern. The pool is beautiful, again it feels like you’re staying at a beautiful Italian estate, because you are. I was in town for a wedding in Ostuni, all of my friends who rented Airbnb‘s remarked that my accommodation was the best! I can easily see that this is the best resort in Ostuni proper! The front desk was very helpful with arranging taxis and answering any questions I had.

Beautiful lobby, comfortable rooms, calm environment and most of all, the best staff we’ve ever met!
We felt so welcome and they were so helpful beyond our expectations. We are so grateful especially for the lift they gave us to the event we were attending when our taxi was late and also for the delicious cake they offered for our daughter’s birthday, the next day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Park Novecento. It was our favorite hotel during our recent trip to Italy. What sets this hotel apart is the attentive service (even being at half staff), peaceful garden setting and beautiful property close to town.

The service is top notch! We loved being greeted by Marilyn and the office staff every day. They gave us the best recommendations around Puglia and we were blown away with the restaurants that they recommended to us in Ostuni.

In terms of location, this hotel is 5 - 10 min from Ostuni and an easy drive into town.
The grounds are immaculately maintained, the pool is relaxing (wonderful to return to the pool after a hot day sightseeing) and the setting is serene. It was so nice to hear the birds chirping and to relax on the balcony each day. I can’t tell you how nice it was to wake up and enjoy our breakfast outside on the patio. The breakfast was plentiful and generous. We relaxed under a shaded canopy during breakfast (there was also indoor seating if one preferred).

The night before we were going to leave, the hotel arranged a pizza for delivery for us. When it arrived, Marilyn noticed we were going to eat out of the box with waters in the dark. She went out of her way to bring us cutlery, plates, cocktails and even a lantern to make it a romantic evening on the terrace. Additionally, we had to leave for our flight at 5:30am the next morning and she made us a nice breakfast to go. We felt so cared for and it was such a wonderful experience to be looked after like that.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The shower is nice and the bed is comfortable. The rooms are a bit older but everything is very clean and well maintained.

All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel. I had a hard time picking out where to stay when I was looking for a spot in Ostuni. I must say that I am so glad that we chose this hotel. This was the perfect spot - family managed, tranquil setting, close to town- and I am eager to return soon!

We absolutely loved our stay here, it is one of the best hotels I’ve been to. The airline had lost our bags en route and we showed up tired and frustrated from that experience but the hotel staff were so welcoming and kind that we soon snapped out of it. Marilyn in particular was especially helpful in helping us navigate the airline’s lost baggage system and even took it over for us, calling each day and speaking with them (our Italian is terrible). All the staff were just the best and whatever they could do to help, they would. We felt completely at home here and can’t wait for our return visit. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and it’s nice to be a little out of town so you can enjoy the serenity of the countryside. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

This place is outstanding! It’s an old villa all renovated inside, very comfortable and a quite place to scape from the routine. It’s very easy to reach the town by bike.

My partner and myself went for 4 nights and we enjoyed it so much, also with their great hospitality. The food at the restaurant is beautiful, besides of being really tasty it looks fantastic.

With only twelve rooms Novecento is a beautiful traditional Italian palazzo.If you want to stay somewwhere with a touch of glamour at reasonable prices then this is the place for you.Rooms have either a private terrace or balcony.For amazing views of the pool and hotel grounds ask for a room on the upper floor.We sat on our balcony many an evening appreciating the quiet of the hotel gardens.Spacious room and a good shower.
It's an easy drive to many of the well known must see sites of this part of Puglia and Ostuni itself is full of quirky little streets, shops for browsing and amzing places to eat.

Great staff, beautiful place

Ah what to say about this incredible place. From day 1 we were greeted by the kindest, happiest, friendliest people!!! Marylin & Valentina were so amazing. Honestly - couldn't have done more for us!!! Called us a taxi whenever we needed, sent us a bottle of free prosecco when we got engaged and were just the loveliest people. The hotel is self is beautiful. We had room 15, with a terrace and it did not disappoint. Check out the pics!! Breakfast was brilliant- everything you need, meats, cheeses, eggs, bread, fruit, cereal and yog. They also can make you scrambled eggs. Roberta remembered our coffee order and brought it out every morning bless her. Overall 10/10 - amazing staff and amazing venue. We will miss you guys!!! Thanks for sharing in our engagement 💍👍🍷😍

Interesting building, we had lovely patio although the room was on the small size, very smart modern bathroom. Always nice and quiet by the pool, which was very large for the size of hotel !

What can I say about this place, it is so beautiful. It’s like you have stepped back into the 1920’s , so relaxing . We only stayed here 1 night , and wished we could have stayed longer, it was magical. The staff could not have been more welcoming, and could not do enough for you. The grounds and pool were amazing, and we loved our bathroom! Will definitely return for longer

We had a lovely few days at this wonderful hotel. The building is a beautiful old country house and the staff and management were top class, ensuring we had a great holiday. It has an old world charm in a beautiful setting a bit outside of the town. The town of Ostuni is very spectacular with winding streets leading up to the cathedral at the top. We would highly recommend this hotel.

esperienza che non ripeterei. la pulizia e lo stato dell'immobile, oltre che della manutenzione generale della struttura, non è adeguata al prezzo pagato. la stanza aveva un cattivo odore, vi erano degli angoli sporchi di polvere e di capelli, dallo scarico del water uscivano insieme all'acqua una moltidudine di formiche, alcuni accessori erano malmessi e posticci. il bagno era piccolissimo ed aveva il vetro della finestra rotto.
l'illuminazione della stanza era scarsa e poco efficiente. prese per alimentare caricabatterie o altro mancano, per caricare il telefono bisogna staccare l'alimentazione della luce da comodino.
lo stato in generale era al di sotto della categoria e sicuramente del prezzo pagato per notte, nonostante l'alta stagione. l'annunciata disponibilità di biciclette in realtà non vi è. la colazione è a dir poco scarna e pochissimo variata, senza alcun richiamo a prodotti tipici e con pochissima scelta
i lettini della piscina erano vecchi e manifestavano usura. complessivamente il giudizio è totalmente negativo, fatto salvo il posto che è molto bello ed il personale di servizio, assolutamente gentile e disponibile.
il prezzo pagato è a dir poco esagerato per la qualità generale dell'hotel
