Close to hop on n off buses for sightseeing and pubs for food n drinks!

La ubicación es excelente! El lugar estaba limpio, nos cambiaban las toallas y repasaban el baño todos los días. El desayuno super abundante Y con un buen horario.
Del baño salía un olor a cloaca terrible. La ducha no es para personas altas… fue bastante incómodo bañarme. La habitación supuestamente era deluxe… q evidentemente no es el mismo concepto para el resto del universo, porque era una habitación súper pequeña! Entrábamos justas con mi amiga. Pero la verdad q la ubicación es fantástica!
The location is great, the common areas are gorgeous, the rooms are a good size for the orice and area. Excellent breakfast. The top floors are quiet.
The room phone wasn't working, which was a problem when I had to check out at 5 in the morning and discovered that the lifts said they were out of order, and thus had to go down 6 floors on foot carrying heavy luggage. I suspect they turn off the lifts at night because arriving at the first floor I met an employee with a key in his hand that told me was going to "try to fix the lifts"

Ett gammalt mysigt hotell,ligger nära Haydn Park och flera tunnelbanestationer. Mysig frukostrestaurang men väldigt serviceinriktad personal.
Väldigt trevligt med vatten, vin, frukt och choklad på rummet.
Vi gillade allt men ett par krokar att hänga jackor på innanför dörren vore bra.
The location and the staff were excellent and it's possible history was very interesting.
The interior of the hotel was in serious need of refurbishment both in common areas and individual rooms. Our first night was spent in Room 031. The air-conditioning didn't work, the mattress was too soft and lumpy and the headboard was faux leather that was so warn over the years it was crazed and much of the outer skin had fallen off.
Our second room, 206, was not as aged, but when we returned, we found the temperature set at 25C and tried to adjust the air-conditioning to cool it off but heat kept coming out. I phoned reception and was told that as it was winter it had been switched to heat only, as had the rest of the hotel.
Both rooms were exceedingly small, there was about 12 to 18 inches of walking space around the beds, which meant I couldn't quite touch opposite walls with outstretched arms but was far away. There is a dangerous unprotected internal staircase in room 206. Climbing five or six steps into the room from the door as you enter, it would have been a serious accident if, in the dark of the night, either of us had not been careful about our movements.
Both bathrooms were tiny and there was only room for a small screen, when we showered the water went everywhere. In 206, most of the bathroom floor tiles weren't fixed to the floor any longer.
The master staircase carpet was badly warn and thread bare on the tread edges.
Having examined the criteria for award star rating we can only puzzle how this hotel could have passed it's annual inspection and get a 4-star rating as it didn't meet all of the 3-Star criteria.
Central Location. Stunning looking hotel from the outside. Staff were pleasant and held luggage after check-out time so I didn’t have to worry about lugging it about London.
Room had a “fake” window that was so bright it was distracting to sleep. The temperature of the room could not be controlled. The sheets had a black stain on them and the pillows were like rocks. No internal laundry service. Very disappointing for the $$$
