Sweet as
Pros:

Walk in shower with very good pressure

Cons:

Seems like a seal on window may need replacement, when windy it makes a very loud whistling noise. So bad it sounds like cats fighting

Comfortable, basic accommodation in central Wellington offers good value for money

Good toiletries provided

Cons:

No electric blanket, heater shut off at night - it was cold!
Not enough towels provided initially on arrival. Extra towels were provided later on request, but allocating one towel per person is stingy (what if you want to wash your hair?)
Severely cracked bathroom tiles were not a good look.

Good overnight option
Pros:

Location good. Friendly staff. Room decor and comfort of mattress & pillow great in the Deluxe Twin room we booked.
Room around beds are limited, but fine for our one night stay with hand luggage of 3 adults.

Cons:

Bathroom could do with an extractor fan to get rid of steam & moisture.

Hated all the automated emails but the location with optional parking was great.
Pros:

Having parking at that location was very good. Yes it cost extra but worth it. Very difficult to find any parking in central city and if you do it is expensive. I have stayed before a few years earlier.

Cons:

About 95% of the emails from Booking.com. I hate automated emails from stupid systems. Stop doing that please. Just need the basics - not every single thing.

Another example below. It is the middle of winter. Why would I go to a beach? That question only makes sense on the other side of the world where the seasons are reversed. But it makes the hotel look more stupid that this questionaire is asking a question from the wrong hemisphere.

I literally chose to stay at an actual hotel because I hate all of the over communication involved with AirBnB stays. And yet I still had emails about every single thing. When I'm in a hotel I don't want to check out online I'd rather go to the front desk. I met 3 staff members. One was clearly new ( and a bit unsure of answers to questions) but the other two were very good. I wanted to recycle some drink bottles but there seemed to be no way to do that. A note on recycling would have helped.
