Pros:

Customer service was top notch. Neat and quiet environment with good facilites with friendly and helpful staff. Food is very good. Looking forward to spend more nights there.

Delivered on all basic requirements, good value
Pros:

Friendly and has everything that one would want for a short stay. Rooms a quiet and comfortable. It is short uber drive from Cardiff but you save on free parking.

Cons:

Nothing, it is great value.

Okay but disappointed
Pros:

Easy to get to

Cons:

The air conditioning was old, noisy and not easy to control. The shower didn’t drain properly so my feet were left in dirty water. breakfast was okay but some of the cooked items (mushrooms and scrambled eggs) were cold. There are only a very few disabled spaces in the car park, not enough for a hotel of this size.

Great value for money - lovely staff.
Pros:

Stayed here a couple of times and it’s always great.

Cons:

Beds are really soft and there aren’t enough comfy chairs on the bar area - there were less this time than last time we stayed.

Lovely weekend stay!
Pros:

Lovely hotel, staff friendly, nice bar area.
Comfy bed, good size rooms.
Breakfast was really good!

Cons:

Further out of the centre but we knew this on booking.
Parking was extra cost (2 nights was £20 so not awful) however Mecure hotel said booking.com hasn’t updated this even though they have been trying!

Over priced mediocre tired room.
Pros:

Spacious room

Cons:

£10 for parking on top of £240 for the night was a bit of a rip off. The room wasn’t worth the price and there was quite a lot of mould on the bathroom tile grout and bedroom voile. Two staff on reception but both of them were seeing one person in at a time, so the queue took quite a while.

Cons:

Room was directly above a generator that hummed, whirled and groaned all night. Impossible to sleep with the window open as a result. Air con was as loud as a plane.

Check in experience was ok- but the small desk in the foyer is not really a 'reception'
