Overall, we enjoyed our one night stay here and the shuttle to the airport.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, staff were helpful at front desk and at breakfast and location was good for access to San Marco and to airport.

Cons:

Construction noise but understand it is necessary to make facilities nicer and updated.

Find a better place to stay - definitely NOT worth the money
Pros:

Am I likely to stay here again - No! Why not have a shuttle that runs to the airport. Seriously, it's only 1.5 miles away but it might as well be 10 miles away when you are pushing luggage around. And the last 1/4 of mile, the road to the hotel is under construction so you are forced to walk into a very busy road with your rolling luggage. Or you have to spend 40 Euros to take a cab 1.5 miles. The rooms are old and need to be refurbished. Not very clean - particularly the shower. It's definitely NOT worth $285 for the room. Not at US price and certainly not at European prices. One of the reasons you would stay near the airport is for the convenience, and if I am spending that much money on a cab or private shuttle, I'll stay elsewhere at a much nicer hotel. It's one or the other. If they had a free shuttle service that ran every 15 or 30 minutes, I would have not have left this review. But it's an old, run down hotel that is not worth the money when you have to figure in the cost of the cab for 1.5 miles. Overall a poor stay and would NOT recommend. I am surprised that Marriott put its name on this hotel. And I am also a Bonvoy Gold Elite member and that meant ZERO to this hotel.

Really convenient place to visit not just Venice but other places
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Some of the fruit wasn’t as fresh as expected. Coffee was good. Room was spacious. Really appreciated the early check in after a long flight to recuperate and prepare for evening activities. Proximity to airport and bus to Venice served our plans

Perfect hotel for easy access to Venice and its airport
Pros:

We stayed here for one night before departing on a cruise. The hotel is quite nice. Clean room, phenomenal location just 1/2 mile from the airport and also near to Venice and a number of local restaurants. Our room rate included a wonderful buffet breakfast. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
