This is NOT a 5-star hotel. Room was large, but dirty and extremely outdated. Honestly no better than a Best Western. Not at all like the photos. The lobby and cafe are beautiful, but that’s the only good thing about this place. Hotel was extremely noisy with a vacuum going up and down a literal marble hallway, echoing nonstop. Save your money and stay elsewhere. I actually can’t believe the positive reviews here.

We liked everything about our stay.
Great design, cool staff, location not that much.
I liked the size of the room, the interior, the design.
As well, the lobby is amazing
I loved to drink my coffee there.

Great value for money. A large room with lovely bathroom. The hotel lobby and restaurant were stunning. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. All the staff were very good especially Kristina at breakfast
Excellent location in the heart of Budapest. Grand architecture and palatial lobby and restaurants and bar. Rooms were spacious, clean, and fresh. Service of room staff and restaurant/bar was great. The New York Palace Cafe menu and quality were top notch.
The location was good , but there are better properties in Budapest in better locations . The area around Anantara feels dated and run down .

Vibes of a luxury hotel . The rooms were always dusty !

The hospitality is truly what sets this hotel apart from other 5-star hotels. The breakfast staff at the cafe and the staff at the White Salon for dinner made our stay so memorable. Big shoutout to Ármin and Zsombor who made our dinners so special and were always so kind. Also big shoutout to Norbert at breakfast time always making great recommendations and so helpful. We will definitely come back to this place that made us feel so welcomed.
My parents and I had dinner at the White Salon to celebrate some milestone birthdays. We had a great time, good food, good atmosphere and our waiter Armin looked after us so well.
