Good for a last minute stay like we did but I wouldn’t stay there long term
Pros:

The location is wonderful, the gambling floor has something for everyone and they have awesome food at the restaurant.

Cons:

It’s very outdated. The property also had very high traffic noise so sleeping soundly is nearly impossible

Love the hotel- and location— and parking !
Pros:

We have always enjoyed the “Gold”- and usually cannot get into it and get redirected up to travel lodge- which we do not care for location- so enjoyed this stay!

Cons:

Nothing- a bit inconvenient during construction, but that is short lived.

I was pleasantly surprised.
Pros:

It was convenient to have a restaurant right there in the hotel, the room was comfortable, everything was clean and staff was attentive. And the view from our window was beautiful!

Cons:

Parking wasn't too convenient but it wasn't terrible either. I understand the spatial capacity you have to work with.

south dakota never seems to let us down.. love deadwood... i hope we stay there again

Overall the stay was good.
Pros:

The food was okay, but it was nice having the hotel located where it was so we weren't in the absolute center of all the action in town.

Cons:

The only think I didn't like was the carpet in the hotel rooms, it made the room seem a bit unwelcoming and dirty just because of the color and age.

Pros:

Clean comfortable rooms, restaurant available, easy access to gaming. Easy on site parking which is hard to find in Deadwood.
