Great location, within easy walking distance of everything in the Old Town. The rooftop pool is very nice, although it’s a bit small and can get crowded. The breakfast spread is good, with plenty of options. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and they were especially accommodating in helping us change rooms.
The room and lobby felt quite hot during our stay, and I was sweating much of the time. I’m not sure if there is a limit on how low the air conditioning can be set, but we couldn’t get the room temperature below 21.5°C.

We had an outstanding stay at Catalonia Málaga (Molina Lario). From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel kindly provided us with an early check-in, which we greatly appreciated after our journey.
Our room was spotless, comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained. The entire hotel was immaculate, and every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help.
A very special thank you to Daniel at the front desk. He was incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. After we had a disappointing experience with another beach club that failed to honor our reservation, Daniel personally called Trocadero Playa and made our reservation for the following day, ensuring everything was confirmed so we wouldn't experience the same problem again. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for the guests truly made a difference.
The location is perfect, just a short walk from Málaga Cathedral, the historic center, the marina, excellent restaurants, shops, and many of the city's main attractions, making it ideal for exploring Málaga on foot.
The breakfast was magnificent, with an excellent variety of fresh, high-quality options. It was one of the highlights of our stay.
Thank you to Daniel and the entire team for your outstanding hospitality. You made our visit to Málaga truly memorable, and we will gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. We look forward to staying here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The pool is tiny!
Not enough seats. My husband managed to have a quick dip but you can’t swim in it it’s like a big bath with lots of sundress and god knows what else floating round.
The beds were exceptionally comfortable!
