What I liked:
1. Room was as expected: It contains a table with two chairs, a TV, a small couch, a bed big enough for two people with a bench in the room, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom. There are radiators in each room, including the bathroom, with their own thermostat. The curtains are full blackout curtains. There are many lamps and lights.
2. Could not hear neighbors: The hotel seemed pretty full but I did not hear neighbors coming and going.
3. Next to bus: The hotel is next to a stop for the bus shuttle that goes straight to the airport
4. Near the Village: Bars and restaurants were within 5 to 15 minute walk.
5. Breakfast: There are multiple bread products like croissants, muffins, and toast. There were two types of cereal, one like corn flakes and another like fruit loops. There was yogurt, boiled eggs, honeydew melon, pineapple, oranges, apples, and different types of juices
6. Bilingual: Hotel staff spoke French and English fluently
7. Toasty: I traveled there when it was unhealthily cold. The temperature could be set and achieved in such a way that the rooms felt hot in a short time. This was great to heat up from the freezing temperatures.
8. Distance to Place Des Festivals: 25 minutes straight walk. This was also the distance and time to get to a walking tour of the city.
What could have been better:
1. Bathroom water pressure: While I deeply appreciated having a bathtub, very hot water, and a radiator in the bathroom, the water pressure for the shower was very high. The head couldn't be adjusted to turn this down to a bit more comfortable setting. The high water pressure was great for taking a hot bath quickly though.
2. Breakfast: There was sliced ham, yogurt, and boiled eggs but I wish there had been more protein options.
