Its ok but there are better options in the area
Pros:

It is a good hotel as we have stayed there for a third time but they should invest in renovating the interior a bit more as its old fashioned.

Cons:

Breakfast should have been better, the selection was quite limited. The cleanliness was average, our shower got broken at some point.

Très bon hôtel confortable
Pros:

Hôtel confortable et proche du centre de Ponta Delgada . Belle piscine mais l’eau était froide fin juin . Très bon petit déjeuner.
Places de stationnement juste en face de l’hôtel en nombre suffisant .

Cons:

Accueil poli mais plutôt froid ( certainement dû au nombre important de chambres )

Staff was so so. No one at bar to give free welcome drink. Front desk staff mediocre.
Pros:

Pool was nice. We had a king room which was nice and spacious.

Cons:

The mattress was one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. Could feel every spring and made soooo much noise when you moved. Zero sleep!!

Hotel propre avec piscine

Cons:

A partir de 6 heures du matin, nous avons été réveillés par les avions qui décollaient ou atterrissaient toutes les 20 minutes. Impossible de dormir. Nos fenêtres étaient fermées, mais le bruit était fort. L'hôtel est situé trop près des pistes de l'aéroport, l'isolation phonique est insuffisante et ne permet pas de dormir. L'hôtel de mentionne pas sur Booking ce défaut majeur. Il faut choisir un hôtel situé plus loin de l'aéroport, à moins d'être sourd.

I like that the air conditioning was good. Beds were comfortable and close to places to go.

Cons:

The pillows were too soft needed another pillow. Thought the breakfast and dinner we're really expensive so didn't eat there.

We liked it well enough. The check in could be more informative and faster.
Pros:

Great breakfast, location close to center, but quiet, pool,friendly staff

Cons:

That somebody stole my golden necklace before we got the safe which should have been offered from the beginning.
Also, they should have mentioned that they have a garage and the parking in front does not belong to the hotel.we paid a few tickets because of it.

Pros:

Pěšky kousek od centra. Možnost parkování (bylo místo i na ulici přímo před vchodem, o víkendu bez poplatku). Voucher na welcome drink v lobby baru. Bazén téměř bez lidí. Na pokoji osobní písemné přivítání od manažerky hotelu s tvarohovými koláčky pro každého. Lednice, kapslový kávovar s kapslemi, rychlovarná konvice. Čisto.

Cons:

Snídani jsme dali až na druhý pokus, při prvním tam bylo ohromné množství lidí a hluk, hotel je asi oblíbený mezi CK. Při druhém pokusu o 3/4 hodiny později to už bylo lepší, ale personál ve dvou lidech nestíhal uklízet stoly. Sice postupně vše uklidili a doplnili jídlo i pití, ale člověk si připadal jako po nájezdu kobylek. Káva byla nepitelná, nescafé z automatu, to byly lepší i kapsle na pokoji. Přelety letadel byly spíš zajímavým zpestřením, v noci jsme nic neslyšeli.

location was good, we had 7 people, booked 3 rooms, Breakfast was great so was the bar menu.

I was very disappointed with the woman receptionist at Vila Nova ------- I had booked 3 rooms ahead of time and paid for it, all had queen size beds, all were family members.. Room # 1-2 adults, Room #2-1 adult and 1 teenager, room ...#3 - 2 adults and 1 child. Room # 3 receipt showed I had PAID ahead of time for 1 EXTRA ' bed', $30 per night ( I questioned why does it said that since I had no extra bed in the room ? she said it was because I was paying for a '3rd person in the room, a young child sleeping with parents in same queen size bed, which made no sense, the receipt indicated it was a ' BED/CAMA' that was NOT THERE.) . It gets worse, here's is my issue with ROOM #2, upon checking to hotel, I was REQUIRED/TOLD TO PAY upfront ', per night , for an extra bed that I did NOT NEED , since I was the only adult sleeping in the room with a teenager sharing the queen bed, made no sense. UPON questioning this extra cost a few times, I was told in two different languages that I was not understanding and had BEEN explained to already what it was required by the hotel...I found it insulting, again I did NOT need an extra bed in my room (#2) since it was just an adult and teenager in the same room. YES, I ended up paying for an extra bed and was in the room that I had no use for, it cost me about $145.00
