Signore Gaspare and his team do a superb job!

Cons:

All was great, almost nothing to complain. The breakfast could be upgraded with free orange juice.

Extraordinal Relais experience
Pros:

1) Exceptional location
The Relais stands independently on a quiet, gently elevated hill at the northern edge of Gavi, with vast surrounding terroir that can be explored on foot. To the north, you can look out over the basin, and in the distance, the Alps. The morning mist is extraordinarily beautiful.

2) Outstanding architecture and interior design
This is something you truly need to experience in person. Personally, what impressed me most were the various copper fish reliefs mounted on the parallel columns in the restaurant hall. They tell a story of the region’s gastronomic richness - not only through wine, but also through its food culture and ingredients.
