The Westin Arlington

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

Just about everything to do with this hotel was slightly off.

The front desk person forgot to give us the WiFi details upon check in. When we called the front desk, someone answered, said they would get it to us, then one of their colleagues immediately talked over them.

Stayed in Room 612: the door had an issue with the deadbolt resulting in us having to close it several times in order to lock properly. Also, one of the 2 beds in our room was not in good shape with one side caved in.

Staff at the Commentary had issues with taking food orders, and some of our items were overcooks. Also, a breakfast with no orange juice!?!?

The pool is nice, though the hot tub is apparently out of service? There were caution signs and the lifeguard said the “water was cold”.??

To add insult to injury, upon checkout, the front desk both did not send an email receipt like they said they would have AND RAN MY CREDIT CARD AGAIN for a room charge that had already been paid.

PLEASE DO BETTER!

Hotel is alright housekeeping had some issues. We had to wait for our room however did a call when it was ready. Would still recommend the hotel.

friendly warm atmosphere and staff. Location perfect. Stayed many times, consistant. We feel at home.

Pros: Clean common areas. Clean rooms. Extremely nice staff. Comfortable beds. Lots of eateries, shopping and entertainment nearby. Free breakfast buffet with real food and not just donuts. Beautiful dining area and bar inside hotel. Had issues with heating and they came in less than 5 min to fix. While under repair we got a space heater that definitely kept us toasty for a good nap before departing.

Cons: $40 for parking is insane. Got turned around and confused in parking garage and it’s easy to end up in another building if you take the wrong elevator.

Tips: If you don’t like city driving like me, take ride shares to your destinations instead of paying for parking at the malls etc.. Visit Pentagon city mall and Ballston mall. Eat and game at Punch Bowl Social. Enjoy family fun at Immersion gamebox.

Congortsbær bed and clean rooms. Unfortunately the noisy heating wasn’t able to keep up with the low outside temperature and keep an adequate temperature in the room. Not many dining options in the vicinity

Convenient to the hospital, fitness facilities, Starbucks inside, comfortable beds, plenty of things right outside the doors.

I had to stay in a co-worker's room because the staff told me that my room was not paid for and they wanted me to pay them for the room after I told them I had already paid Booking.com. They said that Booking.com never sent them the payment.

Received free parking, thanks to Mohammed.
Received free breakfast vouchers after room door would not open. Maintenance arrived quickly to resolve the problem.
Loved the daily vouchers for the Market place.

The Manager (Martha) at The Commentary took the time to walk down the street to get the cupcakes I had ordered for my daughter's birthday while she was visiting DC on her school field trip. Not only did she deliver them to the chaperone's room, but Martha also decorated!

Her extra kindness and support made this trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience of memories!

Martha E deserves recognition and a STARS acknowledgement from the management team!

No hot water for 2 days, gym extremely hot (thermostat was broken), peloton bikes didn’t work, mold in the bathroom, no housekeeping for 2 days even after contacting the front desk, extremely uncomfortable pillows with no other options (bought pillows at Target to sleep), and the carpets are filthy.
