Originally being told that parking was an additional $40 per night even for hotel guests. Mohammed was kind enough to give us free vochers for parking.
I had to stay in a co-worker's room because the staff told me that my room was not paid for and they wanted me to pay them for the room after I told them I had already paid Booking.com. They said that Booking.com never sent them the payment.
I did not like the fact that Booking.com did not send the hotel the payment. I checked my account and saw that we had paid Booking.com so I do not understand why Booking.com did not send the payment to the hotel.

The Manager (Martha) at The Commentary took the time to walk down the street to get the cupcakes I had ordered for my daughter's birthday while she was visiting DC on her school field trip. Not only did she deliver them to the chaperone's room, but Martha also decorated!
Her extra kindness and support made this trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience of memories!

No hot water for 2 days, gym extremely hot (thermostat was broken), peloton bikes didn’t work, mold in the bathroom, no housekeeping for 2 days even after contacting the front desk, extremely uncomfortable pillows with no other options (bought pillows at Target to sleep), and the carpets are filthy.

The beds are very comfortable and the duvet is very nice. Amongst the best sleep of any hotel I have stayed recently. The rooms are clean and sufficiently spacious. However, on the first day there was no warm water in the morning and the heater in the room would not heat the room above 69F, regardless of setting. Given the sub-30F temperature outside, it was cold. I understand the breakfast is offered by an outside provider in the restaurant and is outside Marriott's control. The breakfast was a bit scarce and the quality certainly lower than what I would get at the Residence Inn I generally stay at. Lastly, a destination fee is a pet peeve of mine, especially given that I am traveling on business. This is not a resort hotel.
I check to the western in Arlington last weekend on Saturday evening on dec6,2025 at 6:10P.M. the guy check in hotel at front desk gave room keys he said go to room right away on 13th floor he size premium floor on king size room it was nice the room was good to super and excellent the workout little to warm and hot only thing workout room trailmill machine to hot stay workout room i get out work out room to hot said in workout room I dont no if switch Broken or not the setting where work that day if fix setting made workout room m c work out workout room for next time that stay at hotel again as guest if make m c in workout room if fix the problem in workout room next time the pool was good and excellent the lifeguard and pool attaunt she was nice and p to me and helpful to super to excellent with service with her next back to pool nice size pool i wad d my swim and lap in pool. We attended a wedding and stayed at hotel. The lobby, restaurant, pool and gym is good. The rooms do not deserve Marriott’s name. Our A/C set at 70 deg F did not cool at all. The air blower start/stop and stayed very loud. The fan speed control did not work, stayed at high speed. The closet door extremely heavy to move. Two complains of A/C and said repair did nothing, don’t believe any attempt to repair was made. We were offered another room, impractical to repack and unpack. Other people in the group reported similar and other issues.
Check A/C, heat and bathroom fixtures before unpacking.
Hotel is really good. Rooms are typical business hotel rooms - so all good. Staff was very nice and helpful (helped me with receiving things from amazon, helped with late checkout etc.). Also, the gym is actually quite good, also the indoor pool.
there is no shower in the pool room, so you need to shower at the gym and then walk (with your wet swimming clothes) to the pool. everything else was really good.
I stay last weekend at the western Arlington on Saturday afternoon novmber 15,2025 I check in hotel at 3;25P.M. that afternoon that day the ladies check in hotel right away gave 2 room key she said go up to room on high floor on 11th floor she said king size room nice and big nize size room the work out room was good to excellent the pool was good only me in pool I do lap nize size pool petty big nize size pool the lifeguard ladies was nice she pool attendant and p to me no problems at all at pool with her she was nice and very p she was nice the brastfast was good to excellent and sever was good and waiter was nice and p he help out get dish my table and p to me no ploblems at all brastfast was good to excellent so stay at hotel for weekend from 2nights@2days check in hotel Saturday November 15 to monday to November 17,2025 so check out November 17,2025 so left room at 1;15P.M. I had multiple problems with their electronic keys, both the cards and the app. The app worked only in certain elevators, and only if the front of the phone was facing back instead of front and a certain orientation. It got frustrating enough that I ended up using a card.
We were graciously given the ability to check out at 3 PM but after noon, the app and the card stopped working. I was told at 3 PM when I checked out I should have gotten the cards an app key extended separately.
I told them that they needed to have made it worked until we checked out and they told me they had to follow a process. My response was they should change the process.
Location, comfort, amenities
Terrible customer service. Unauthorized and unwarranted $500 smoking charge on my corporate credit card (never smoked a day in my life). Reached out to the hotel management multiple times and they wouldn't even return my inquiries, but through corporate said they wouldn't reverse the charge. Absolute scam. I stay at Marriott properties all the time and have never had an issue until staying here. Will never return.
