Location and grounds
Taps didn’t work properly in the room
Needs upgrading
Pretty basic really
Stunning property and lovely location
Dated in places like the bathroom in the room very old and needed updating which let the hotel down a bit, things like tatty paint work on the windows and doors. In the restaurant some little touches like bad fake plants on some of the tables and burger van like condiments (ketchup) just made the stay feel a bit cheaper - with a few extra thoughtful touches it could have felt like a really high class place to go for really reasonable price. But over all great stay - would definitely go again
Location and parking was good, and good for walking the dog.
Bathroom was old and the taps need replacing, and the toiletries were a sparse joke (see photo's).
The breakfast was of poor quality. The eggs were not freshly cooked, they'd been standing for some time, and one day there were no sausages. When asked, the staff said the cook was not cooking any more, he was doing a stock check.
excellent setting and helpful staff.
nothing
The hotel is ideal for the purpose of my stay and location. I have stayed at Coulsdon Manor quite a few times now in the last 18 months with my dog. The staff are always welcoming, respectful, polite and always happy to help with anything. The location is perfect especially if you have a dog. You have immediate access to the grounds of the golf course for a great dog walk. Hopefully this will continue as long as people respect that it is a golf course and that we are there to respect others enjoyment.
There is nothing I don’t like about the property. If I had to be “picky” then I would say that maybe the bedrooms could do with a bit of updating but I wouldn’t feel that comfortable taking a dog into a plush hotel, not that I don’t respect Coulsdon Manor at all, my muddy boots come off outside the hotel as they would do my home or anywhere else!!
Cheap and cheerful you get what you pay for
Breakfast staff didn't seem to care less
Lovely location in the middle of lovely green landscape, used as a golf course.
The cooked English breakfast was very good. The table with a bit of cereal and fruit salad, and tea/coffee were ok, not great.
Comfy
Staff are so helpful
Ordered food and waiter brought to my room.
Very customer focussed
Very friendly staff. Excellent location to access motorways. The food in the restaurant was good value for money.
I found the pillows uncomfortable they .made my neck hurt, so I my sleep was disturbed

Clean comfortable convenient
Bedside light nearest window of room 109 did NIT work
Beautiful surroundings and convenient
Bar area quite cold and uninviting
Beautiful, stuff where amazing and lovely surroundings.
I looked everything about it.
The bed was very comfortable - had the best night sleep in ages. Bathroom was great - able to get in and out of the bath with shower easily. Food delicious.
The lighting in the bedroom would benefit from a central light. In the evening the table I sat at was rather dark - made reading menu and seeing food a little more difficult. The window in my bedroom was dirty on the outside.
