A pleasant and quiet hotel
Pros:

The hotel is set in large grounds including a golf course with adequate parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size. Meals were available in the bar / restaurant. The breakfast, english and continental, was very good.

Cons:

The hotel is advertised with free parking but unfortunately the management had just had a charging system installed.
Visitors could also be made aware at the time of booking that the hotel lies within the London LEV/ULEV emission controlled zone which could be an issue for those with older vehicles which may require registration with the authorities

Standard Golf Hotel
Pros:

Loved the outside dining area, view of the golf course and food was lovely.

Cons:

1) My room had scaffolding outside so had a shocking view and also fear that someone could climb up and get into my room.
2) Curtains were off their rail.
3) Bed uncomfortable
4) Bar staff surley and rude.
5) Not disabled friendly.

Pros:

good breakfast,lovely clean room and really good mattress great sleep ,location is great lovely trees and great golf course.

Scaffolding outside the window. 5 am woken by the bottle wagon emptying the bins , took ages and right outside the window. A little dated inside.

The windows only opened a tiny amount but it was ‘that really hot week’. Short of putting in air conditioning there is not much that could be done.

It was calm and peaceful as I went for a rest.
Pros:

The room was large and clean. I paid extra for the view.. It was quiet and peaceful. My sleep was good and uninterrupted.

Cons:

The chairs needed rehopolstering as they were worn out. I needed a rail in the bath so couldn't have a wash as I have a disability. I should have been asked during the booking if I had any specific needs.
