Pros:

The location was very good. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast variety could be improved a little. Although the weather was cold, the room temperature was quite comfortable

Cons:

The common areas and the seating area at the entrance could have been cleaner. There was a very strong smell. That was the only thing that was quite disturbing

Great hotel with the best staff!
Pros:

Great location, very handy for accessing the city centre.
Spotlessly clean throughout.
Exceptional customer care - all staff were lovely to deal with - 5* to them.
Very cosy bedroom and lovely toiletries.

Had a wonderful stay at the Park House Hotel.
Pros:

Lovely, welcoming, old worldy hotel. Staff were excellent - friendly and professional. Food was excellent - high quality ingredients, done well and great value for money. Location was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Would give more than five stars if I could
Pros:

Pretty much everything. The staff were exceptional. They looked after some special requests for me, even when there were some logistical challenges!! The staff couldn't have been any better. Especially Ohannah. Food was amazing and the room, and hotel in general, was spotlessly clean. Only thing I'd change was a shower cubicle as opposed to a bath/shower combo. But trust me, this is an amazing hotel. Will definitely be back next time in Galway. Thanks Park House

Few snags. Think decor needs updating.
Cellotape on wall paper in restaurant lounge.
Stair carpet upto room 111 sliglhtly worn on Steps upto first flloor from llift.

Great central location near to everything you need in Galway city.

Cons:

Having heard so much about the Park House over the years, I expected a lot more. The hotel is tired looking and looks like it could do with a refurb. Service in the bar was slow and poor despite not being overly busy.
