Agung Raka Resort and Villa

Avoid this place!! Disgusting!! Our room was disgusting we felt like we were staying in an extremely low budget motel. Our room had bugs constantly crawling around on the ground as the doors and windows all had gaps and did not close properly. mosquitoes flying around constantly. Bed had mould all over it and weird stains on the pillows bedding and mattress. The bathroom had moss and mould growing everywhere.

However where the resort was situated was great as it was walking distance and the receptionist who we dealt with was AMAZING.

Property needs a major uplift/facelift and deep deep clean.

Wir waren eine Woche hier und waren sehr überrascht, weil die Anlage im Aussenbereich superschön ist und das Resort an toller Lage in Ubud, dennoch ruhig. Doch das Zimmer war in einem unterirdisch schlechten Zustand (Duschen führte zur Überschwemmung, Türgriff fiel ab (wohl nicht zum ersten mal, weil war schon angeleimt), Flecken auf der Bettwäsche, Kalkflecken und schimmlige Fugen im Badezimmer, Stuhl fällt nächsten auseinander...). Als die Toilettenspülung versagte wechselten wir das Zimmer. da hatten wir die selben Mängel (beim ersten Betreten des Badezimmers schon wieder Türgriff in der Hand ;)). Frühstück war lecker, aber brauchte Geduld und die Auswahl auf der Karte war gross, aber leider war vieles nicht verfügbar. Wir waren schon mehrere Wochen auf Bali und in Indonesien unterwegs und haben für weniger Geld viel bessere Qualität erhalten (meistens in Homestays und einfacheren Hotels, also unser Reisestil ist nicht gerade luxuriös und die Toleranz recht gross).

Unfortunately our room was infested with flies, both dead and alive.

We killed around 10 but when we found dead ones on the floor and alive ones in the bed we decided to leave, right after checking in.

The toilette was also in really bad shape with mold and other stains around the shower and the sink.

One of the pool's were also dirty, the water was green and things were growing in it.

The staff was pleasent but the room dirty.

La Piscine a débordement a été l'atout phare de cette villa. Environnement calme. Multiples d'attractions touristiques à proximité.

This property needs some investment. The staff are nice and friendly but room requires maintenance. My room doesn’t have a working safe but it’s a good value for the price

Don’t waste your time and money on this one. We booked the luxury villa with private pool and it lacked on the luxury and privacy. The room was not clean and we had to request for toilet paper. The private pool was not so private because there was a guy living in a shack with clear view of our private pool. The laminate on the cheap ikea furniture was peeling and broken. The tub in our bathroom was filthy and unusable. I killed spiders, flies and ants in our room. A gecko was in our room and would make a loud squeak when all the lights were turned off. We ended up staying at a different hotel in the middle of the night where we didn’t have any of these problems. The property manager promised a full refund but now is not answering any messages. The only positive is that it’s in a great location in Ubud with lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful place

Hotellet bærer preg av en hard coronatid. Det er et veldig flott uteområdet og basseng, men hotellrommene veier ikke opp. Første hotellrommet vi fikk luktet mugg og var fuktig, i tillegg hadde sengetøyet flekker. Etter vi ga beskjed til de ansatte fikk vi et rom i 2etg som var bedre, men det var fortsatt flekkete sengetøy og håndklær.

De ansatte var veldig imøtekommende, hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Til tross for en kjip start fikk vi et veldig bra opphold i nydelige omgivelser.

El personal muy amable pero, nos dieron una habitacion que el baño olia a orine, pedimos cambio, la segunda habitación estaba el baño lleno de hongo, las paredes con humedad, poco aseado, las paredes del cuarto sucias y la pintura levantada por humedad

No pierdas la llave de ma habitacion por que te cargan un cargo extra. Nunca me habia pasado que me cobraran la llave en ningun hotel.

Service var ok. Værelserne var derimod decideret ulækre - der lugtede af skimmelsvamp og var svamp ned af væggene og i bruseren. Sengelinned blev ikke skiftet og der var pletter og huller i. Vi checkede ud før tid…

Bien que cet hôtel soit bien situé, il ne correspond pas absolument pas aux photos. On sent que le covid a vraiment mis une claque à cet hôtel qui a clairement été le pire endroit où nous sommes resté durant notre séjour en Indonésie. Tout était décevant : l’état de la chambre, le nettoyage très sommaire, le petit déjeuner de très mauvaise qualité, le personnel gentil mais pas aidant du tout. Nous avons pris la suite privée avec piscine, le lieu est sympa mais manque d’entretien correct et de sérieux. Nous avons payé bien trop cher pour le rapport qualité/prix et même si nous avons demandé un geste commercial car nous n’avons finalement plus pris de petit déjeuner et que beaucoup de choses n’allaient pas dans notre chambre, ils n’ont rien voulu entendre et nous ont fait payer le prix en totalité, sans remise.

The room is old and was not clean when we arrived. The breakfast is one of the worst hotel breakfasts i have ever experienced. first we had to wait for over 1,5hour to get served. Then everything was empty. The room had alot of mosquitoes/ animals in it. They changed the sheets but never the towels. Area is cool with the pool but rooms under average.

Das Zimmer war sauber, aber vor allem die Sanitäranlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen. Dadurch, dass sich die Terassentür nicht dicht schliessen liess, gab es diverse Insekten im Zimmer. Die Tür stand abgeschlossen ca. 1 cm offen.
Beim Frühstück muss genügend Zeit eingerechnet werden. Man wartet nach der Bestellung mindestens 30 Minuten auf das Essen. Wenn grössere Gruppen da sind, gerne auch mal länger. Die Frühstücksportionen und das Angebot ist klein. Das amerikanische Frühstück beispielsweise besteht aus einem Glas Saft, Kaffee/Tee, einer Scheibe Brot und etwas Ei.
Die Lage ist sehr zentral aber doch ruhig. Das gastronimische Angebot in der Nähe ist gross.
Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

It's really great choice to spend the night here. The staffs are friendly. One of the staff, Mr. Widi really helpful and we are really grateful. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. We slept comfortably. There are two big swimming pool. Our favorite pool is next to the restaurant. The view is amazing. So we are gonna stay there in the next holidays.

This is the best place I’ve been by far. The rice fields, the swimming pools and the restaurant are so great. And the staff is so friendly. The food is great and it has a decent price. Totally recommended.

Overall package and ambience was great. Great value for money
