Glorious period style hotel!
Pros:

Such a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. The room was divine! We had a suite and it was just glorious! The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

Cons:

The parking was a bit complicated. There is no room service which I found to be a disadvantage as we did not want to leave the room :)

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Lage war auch super. Sehr gute Anbindung an den HVV.

Cons:

Wir haben ein Standardzimmer gebucht, Ausstattung war wirklich gut, jedoch keinerlei Ausblick. Und wenn ich sage keinerlei Ausblick, dann meine ich das auch. Wir haben direkt auf die Nachbarhaus-Wand geguckt, vielleicht drei bis vier Meter entfernt. Der Pluspunkt trotz allem es war sehr ruhig. Aber für fast 400€ für zwei Nächte - ja, da hätte ich auch direkt in der City schlafen können.

Flott hotell som absolutt kan anbefales👌

Rommet og utsikten var perfekt og personalet både i resepsjonen og særlig den unge damen i frokostsalen veldig hyggelig og service minded😄

Superschönes, kleines Hotel, tolles Zimmer, top Matratze, lecker Frühstück
Pros:

Ein Top Hotel mit sehr schönen Wänden und Decken.
Unser Zimmer war ein Traum - mit vom Bad aus zugänglichem uneinsehbaren Balkon zur Alster.
Sehr gute Matratzen, sehr gute Kissen, sehr gute Bettdecken. Auch die Minibar war preislich absolut OK.
Top Frühstück, sehr gute Auswahl und schneller Nachfüllservice.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Cons:

Einziges Manko war der Preis - war allerdings auch dem Wochenende und großer Überfüllung von Hamburg geschuldet. Somit haben wir für zwei Nächte knapp über 660€ für unser Superior Doppelzimmer mit Alsterblick & Balkon gezahlt. War noch akzeptabel, würde an anderen Wochenenden jedoch deutlich weniger kosten.

Ungünstig gelegenes Zimmer
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist super und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Altbau ist sehr schön und das Frühstück hochwertig und vielfältig.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war denkbar ungünstig gelegen: direkt über der Hotelküche, unmittelbar neben einer knarzenden Treppe, gegenüber dem Zugang zur Tiefgarage sowie neben der Besuchertoilette des Hotels. Entsprechend herrschte bis tief in die Nacht und bereits in den frühen Morgenstunden ein erheblicher Lärmpegel.

Noch unverständlicher war die Situation mit dem einzigen Fenster im Schlafbereich. Aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen hätten wir dieses gerne geöffnet, was jedoch praktisch unmöglich war. Direkt daneben befand sich das (geöffnete) Toilettenfenster des Nachbarzimmers. Zudem konnte man von dort aus über den großen Spiegel in unser Zimmer blicken. Um unsere Privatsphäre zu schützen, mussten wir die Vorhänge dauerhaft geschlossen halten.

Cons:

Man sollte nicht während oder kurz nach einer Hitzewelle anreisen, da die Zimmer keine Klimaanlage haben (was ja in 95% aller Fälle in Hamburg kein Problem ist).
