Very welcoming staff, quiet rooms.
Fantastic property. Power went out with a big storm and they handled it amazingly well
Storm Amy hit during our stay… limited back up with no power or heat & no recompense for lack of breakfast facilities etc. Poor communication from staff regarding the whole situation. Passages to rooms had emergency lighting but off prior to checkout & no windows to light passages. Lack of signage in a rabbit warren of passages, corridors & small flights of stairs to find way out/ reception etc.
Disappointing, small room despite paying extra for a sea view. No window in bathroom so no light during powercut.
However, room was clean, bed was comfortable.
Clean room, great shower, bar and food was really good. Great coffee shop and shops nearby
Great place to stay, food is good but across the street dining is a must! Harbour Restaurant! Go for real our best meal on our trip!
Great Stop.
The room was small and dated with a questionable carpet. The bathroom was clean and big which was truly the only reason I didn’t leave and sleep in my car. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were thin and also flat/hard. I may have been able to sleep out of pure exhaustion but I could hear the person in the neighboring room snoring, so no chance.
small rooms
Great view over the water. Definitely upgrade to a sea view room. Restaurant has a great view, order something simple so you won't be disappointed.
Parking was a walk. Breakfast wasn’t very good. Everything closed at 9, so we had to go to the coop next door to get food every night.
Nice welcome at check in. Room very good all you need for an overnight stay. Good location next to shops and petrol station and a good walking area for our dog.
We made and paid for a booking through this site, the hotel confirmed the booking then on the day of check in decided they could not honor the booking and they cancelled it.
Great hotel lovely sea view looking over the bay big comfortable rooms and beds good braakfast cosy bar near centre if Broadford plenty of parking nice staff
Very convenient location when on Skye. The room was clean. There are few restaurants nearby.
The bed was hard and small and the walls between the rooms very thin. The bathroom was good with an excellent shower.
The reception staff welcome was basic. The bar man was rude implying I was being a nuisance and saying I could put the teabag and long life milk capsules on the saucer when I asked where I could put them. I was also amazed they couldn’t serve fresh milk in the hotel lounge. The hotel was soulless and used mainly for bus tour groups when we were staying.
Staff were all lovely.
Room was clean.
Walls were thin - you could hear other guests. This didn’t really worry us but I was surprised when I woke at 5:50am and the guests in the neighbouring room had their TV on.
The room and the bath-room were very small, also the double bed was narrow and very uncomfortable. The view from the room was on to the flat roof and chimney. All-in-all the value for money payed was inadequate.
Could use some room refresh.
We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast in particular.
A large storm caused a power outage while there. While waiting in the lobby, staff brought complimentary sandwiches and soups. Room was very clean and good size. Shower water pressure was not great. The full hot breakfast was excellent. There just wasn’t enough parking for everyone.
