UNA Hotels Napoli

A lovely hotel in not a great " first impression " area but we felt totally safe.
Easy to get around and grab "tours" such as the red bus..Sorrento and surrounding coastline
Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good as is lunch.
Tonight just wanted a glass or two of white wine and we were found a table outside fairly quickly on a busy night. Prices slightly dearer for the wine as we didn't eat.
The room is very cool and a good size not a lot of cupboard space for 2. The showe is very good. Had to request more pillows which arrived swiftly. Room cleaned every day.
Would definitely come back to this hotel.

Hotel très confortable et très bien tenu. Il est situé près de la place Garibaldi et de la gare de Naples, ce qui est pratique. Très bonne isolation phonique des chambres car la place est très bruyante et lorsque les fenêtres sont fermés, plus aucun bruit dans la chambre ; de même avec les volets intérieurs qui apportent une obscurité totale. Fabuleux petit-déjeuner, très copieux et que l'on prend sur le rooftop de l'hotel avec une très belle vue sur Naples.

I stayed here for 7 nights as part of a work trip. The hotel is conveniently located close to Garibaldi Station, but is a bit of a walk from the historic centre. Check-in was smooth, and the receptionists spoke good English. The reception area is somewhat small, but it is air conditioned. The wifi worked well throughout, it was fine for watching videos but a bit slow for uploading photos.

My room was on the 2nd floor. One of my complaints was that there weren't any obvious stairs to use, so I had to use the lift each time. My room was clean and a very good size, and the air conditioning worked well. It had a double bed which was comfortable, I sometimes find the beds can be hard in this part of the world. Despite the hotel being on a busy street, the windows did a very good job at blocking out the sound. There was a shutter with slats over the window which did make the room a bit dark during the daytime. On the inside there were more shutters which did a great job at keeping it dark during the night. The bathroom was a good size, with a bathtub that had a shower in it. I couldn't get the water to go cold, but maybe I wasn't doing something right. There were a few amenities you could request from reception, such as a dental kit. There was a hairdryer which also wouldn't blow cold air, only hot.

On the first day there was a complimentary water bottle in the room, but not for the rest of my stay. There were also snacks laid out on the counter next to the water and kettle, I'm glad I asked reception as if I had eaten any of the snacks I would have had to pay for them. They should make this clearer. Also as a 4 start hotel I think they should be providing water everyday. There was a fountain to fill up a water bottle at breakfast, but not in the rest of the hotel.

I had breakfast included, this was on the top floor with the option to dine on the rooftop terrace. The selection was pretty good, it wasn't huge but it was big enough. Mostly continental with some hot items such as eggs, bacon, etc. I wasn't bored of it after 7 days. There was a good emphasis on gluten free and dairy free (e.g. soya yogurts etc) items. It was possible to order some things a la carte as well.

Overall my 7 night stay was very positive. If work had not paid for this I might have found it a bit pricey.
