The staff were fantastic. It was a great hotel yo relax in with a lovely lounge and bar.
Location
lovely big room
food was delicious
great service
no dislikes
everything was perfect
will be back again soon
It was very dissappointing. The hotel was very cold in all areas. Fraying carpets in areas and when i called reception about a shower that did not work it took 3 different members from the
maintence dept to try and fix it. The hotel has no atmosphere at all and I think the Pitlochry hotel advert is very misleading. Maybe i just picked the wrong hotel.
Centrally located to pitlochry. Hotel was spotless. Probably better for an older clientele.
A little dated and the breakfast was a little cold. The continental breakfast was lovely
How it was central ti all pubs and shops attached pubs and restaurant the coach house was great wee place
Had to pay for parking which wasn't mention when I booked , hotel was very rundown no information pack in rooms with menus etc n local activities
Excellent breakfast friendly st
Nothing
Very central with train station directly behind hotel lovely food friendly staff great rooms. Nice little town with lots to explore
Although an old hotel ,it was clean and the staff were friendly .
Situated in the town centre which is ideal.
We enjoyed the the spacious room
Breakfast was a treat
location very good
The lack of night lights for reading, only one worked but wouldn't switch off,was reported, then there was none
Very central to station and all amenities. Courtesy van to and from the theatre and the station for our journey home was exceptional!
There were some updates happening but this was not an issue as all facilities were good!
Breakfast was adequate but the hot food, although cooked, was not kept warm in the heating trays. I noted that the heating trays were not hot to to the touch. The end result was that the food lost its heat quite rapidly.
As above.
The property was great albeit some repairs and improvements were being carried out.
The rooms were a bit too hot and the water was scalding hot with no warning.
Comfortable bed, clean, walking distance to other shops and restaurants.
Dinner at restaurant wasn’t great. Over cooked, lacking flavour and freshness - I had the sea bass. So ate elsewhere next night.
We liked the location of the hotel, it was accessible close to the pubs, cafes and shops. The decor was nice, very grand, it keeps to the tradition of the hotel. The bed was really comfortable.
We were not keen on the parking facilities. There were no parking spaces available for the guests. We were told by reception that we could park at the train station which didn't suit us.
The room we had was too hot so we had to open the window most of the night.
I wasn't keen on the breakfast, but had great alternatives
Very central, warm and cosy. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast was pretty standard but plenty of choice and were really accommodating when my partner asked for an omelette. Espresso machine in room and lovely choice of teas and a biscuit
Pillows were way too firm. Hotel carpark was full had to drive to a pay and display and pay for some of the parking duration.
Breakfast was distinctly average, room was good, and overall, whilst the experience was fine, we felt it expensive
The price.
