Fantastic, relaxing and friendly
Pros:

Lovely hotel and the booking staff managed to work out what room we last stayed in so could have same room again which I requested. Lovely to have welcome drink and the breakfast choice was really good.

Lovely stay in charming and perfectly situated hotel at affordable price.
Pros:

It’s perfectly situated next to the train station and on the main street. The building is charming and our room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was hearty, offering a generous assortment of hot and cold food.

Nice but different from the pics
Pros:

The location was amazing: right in the middle of Pitlochry, wonderful after a long day of travelling. The gardens were absolutely awesome.

Cons:

The pictures on booking do not match the rooms (or maybe just the one we stayed in). The hotel has a parking lot but it was full when we got there and it was impossible to stop there to unload the car.

Pros:

The location is perfect, very central to everything. The food at the pub next door was great! Our room was huge but I'm not sure they were all like it.

Cons:

The breakfast buffet was average. No chance of anything else not on buffet (poached eggs etc)

Pros:

Located right in the city center, the location was good. Easy to access. The hotel is pleasant, comfortable, and luxurious. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast was complete

Cons:

There weren't enough parking spaces, so we had to park further away and get up early to retrieve the car. As a result, we couldn't enjoy a peaceful breakfast, which was a real shame.

Cons:

There was an emergency with my adult disabled daughter back in the US. I had to cancel 3 days before my stay. I pre-paid almost 5 months prior. I understand the 7 day cancellation policy, but without a doubt they re-booked the room. A partial refund would have gone a long way.

Pros:

Hotel molto centrale a Pitlochry. Servizi ed accoglienza di alto livello. Colazione abbondante e variegata che risponde a tutti i gusti. Abbiamo apprezzato anche una serata di musica tipica scozzese interpretata da un artista locale nella hall.

Don't waste your money here, find another place.
Pros:

The breakfast was ok and rooms were large. The welcome drink at reception is a nice touch. The hotel is actually a nice property but needs work and love to maintain properly. Location is great in the heart of Pitlochry.

Cons:

My late July 2026 stay at Fisher’s Hotel in Pitlochry was deeply disappointing due to a severe drainage issue and poor handling by staff.

On our first night, the shower drain was completely blocked, causing dirty water to pool around my feet. The night receptionist tried to help with a suction tool, but acknowledged maintenance was needed and promised to pass the message along. However, the morning staff had no record of the issue, forcing us to explain it again. Although maintenance claimed to fix it, the drain backed up again whenever we used the sink, and the shower floor was left dirty.

As a result, we couldn't use the shower for either night of our two-night stay.

While the hotel was fully booked and offered drink vouchers, they failed to fix the plumbing or clean the mess properly. At checkout, staff offered no room rate adjustment or meaningful apology for paying for unusable facilities. Issues happen, but the complete lack of resolution spoiled our stay. I would not recommend staying here until they fix their drainage systems.

I've already shared this review on google and posting it here as the issue was never satisfactorily resolved during our stay.

Pros:

It was very good, lots of choice and very nice staff.plenty of room in the restaurant. Don't think I'll need to tell Gordon Ramsey!!

Cons:

The fire door next to our room (264) needs a soft
closer. Very noisy early morning.

Great 3 day break with many options in the area for trips out.
Pros:

Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Appreciated a room with a wet room, rather than a shower over a bath as my wife has mobility problems. Location is so central and convenient for shops, cafes, bars, bus stops and railway station. Hotel has quiet areas as well as a busy bar area and next door is a very lively and welcoming pub.

Cons:

Drainage in the wet room was inadequate and needs to be reviewed. Drain needs to be cleaned.

A very comfortable room in a great location but some updating, especially to the bathroom, needed.

The location is very good and the room was very comfortable.

Cons:

The bathroom! There was a small over-bath shower, the shower head was none to clean and there are a lot of areas of maintenance which need seeing to: grouting black in places, 'collapsed' tiles beside the toilet, hairline crack in the basis etc. Overall, very dated.

Pros:

Gran menjador i esmorzar molt variat, tant continental com esmorzar Escocès. També varietat per persones que necessiten productes gluten free.
