Pros:

Brilliant service, helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Breakfast - 1 coffee machine was not enough to cater for all the restaurant. There was a long wait on the food too but we was told and apologies were given.

Helpful friendly staff; the grounds were great. Spa facilities & pool lovely.
Pros:

Excellent choice of cooked breakfast, orders taken by helpful staff who also supplied skimmed milk when requested. Loved the choice of music played in the bar in the evening. Fiona in the Spa gave excellent massage.

Cons:

Disappointed to arrive back at hotel 9.45pm to find the bar had closed - we would have enjoyed sitting in there, listening to music with our book and a drink. I loved the cooked breakfast, but if you had wanted continental, it didn't have much choice - I can't eat fresh fruit so some tinned/compote would have been a good choice. Would have liked to eat in the dining room on one of the evenings, but looked like same 4 or so choices of food were on offer, so went into town.

Fabulous stay, clean room and lovely spa facilities. Breakfast was delicious.
Pros:

Staff were very helpful. Room was immaculate and spa facilities superb.

Cons:

It would have been nice to be offered a robe/towel on arrival, instead of having to ask.
The outdoor hot tub had the same people use it for 2 hours+, we waited till the next day and same thing people in there for 2+hrs. This could be manned a bit better so that everyone gets an opportunity

Pros:

Nice facilities - we especially enjoyed the great swimming pool and sauna setup. It was a nice treat weekend away. Staff were very helpful, even directing us to their nice golf club cafe for early morning coffee before breakfast opened.

Cons:

Would have appreciated some slippers and robe to get to the swim facilities - was a long cold walk!

very average breakfast with inattentive and unfriendly staff; room was not clean, especially the bathroom with grime on the faucet. The shower door opens awkwardly on the toilet and was not properly fitted so water went everywhere in the bathroom - we had to fix it ourselves. Had it been cleaned properly, the cleaner would have fixed it. Stained and disgusting carpet. Kettle not working. View over the parking and room close to the lift and the revolving door. Very expensive for what it is.

Lovely stay , would have been nice if the full English breakfast was included . Great location - lovely view from room.
Pros:

Lovely place to stay to visit Bury St Edmond’s , loved the swimming pool and facilities- great that they are all included in the price .

Cons:

Our bed was quite hard and we did think we were going to have a bath as on the reviews it said all properties have a bath but the shower was amazing .

Nice stay, bed too firm, rooms basic and I’d say need to be more inviting !

Property was very clean and the staff were exceptionally attentive

Cons:

The rooms are very basic !
The bed was a little too firm for both myself and my husband. He didn’t sleep well at all.
I really enjoy a bath, the water temperature was not hot enough in my opinion and I had to add 4 kettles of boiling water to my bath, this put me off going to use the pool, as many have left reviews regarding the water temperature.
Breakfast was lovely and again excellent customer service ! 👏🏻

A very relaxing, comfortable stay and we said we would return in future.
Pros:

Quiet and set in attractive grounds.
Friendly helpful staff.
Clean, good sized room with a big bed.
Nice hot shower.
Very good choice for breakfast and the freshly-cooked element was very tasty.
Spa and swimming pool is a useful extra facility.

Cons:

Nothing really to complain about. Car parking spaces are a bit tight but there was ample parking on arrival. Would imagine it gets busy during the warmer months.
Our shower controls were difficult to manage but this,again, was a minor item which we mentioned to reception upon check out.

Birthday weekend
Pros:

Lovely clean hotel with helpful and polite staff. Very nice breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant. We will definitely be back. Very easy to drive to Bury St Edmunds town where there are lots of shops and bars and restaurants.
