Location of the hotel

Cons:

Very upsetting that we had to pay the parking
The time we came back to hotel there was no street parking available plus at the top of that location its very hard to walk that long. That was so upsetting paying for the hotel so much and than we had to pay for the parking.

Nice hotel with excellent views of Lake Whakatipu. Close to the town centre but its high up a hill.
Pros:

There’s a nice view from the restaurants

Cons:

Still pretty close to the town centre however the hotel is high up a hill so not an easy walk.

Big hotel with normal facilities associated with it's size.

Cons:

You pay a premium price in Queenstown and Mecure is probably more on the budget size. The hotel is tired and worn. Beds are good and room adequate for the money, but tired. If you were wanting to impress your significant other this is not the choice. Essentially you get what you pay for. My room was next to lift and very noisy due to that. Views however are faultless.

Clean, comfortable and convenient.
Pros:

Our room with lake view was really good. The breakfast was good. The property is maintained to a good standard.

Cons:

The lift feels a bit old and tired. The carpet flooring and the wallpaper coverings on the walls in the room also look old and tired. Paying for parking each day was disappointing.

Pros:

Excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff, clean, warm and safe. Great base for exploring Queenstown and surroundings. Everything was as hoped for or more. Definitely recommend.

Cons:

The room service menu could use a bit more variety, sanitary bins were not present in our bathroom.
