Breakfast was good, although a little less hot choice seemed to be available at the weekend. Staff were very professional and helpful
Lack of evening dining
High beds were comfortable but made life difficult for our elderly companion!
Enthusiastic and supportive front staff were helpful and engaged. Property had availability for last minute same-day booking, and the staff accommodated a room change mid-stay to comply with our original booking specs. Apartment-style rooms feature a massive balcony, and if you squint while craning your neck, you can glimpse a slice of a view of Table Mountain.
The hotel itself is dated in aesthetics and comfort — old carpeting, awkwardly shaped rooms are narrow or triangular, and harsh, cool, sterile lights make it hard to find relaxation or warmth without being exhausted. The apartment-style kitchen was barely appointed — maybe just one or two of each kind of flatware, cutlery, and glasses. Its laundry machine was wash-only, so be prepared with time and means to air-dry your clothes. The nearby restaurant that provides room service managed to provide a truly awful pizza so I have to recommend venturing out. Many worthy spots far and wide, though grocery stores for self-catering either close early or are still 10-15 minute walk away despite the central location.
Hôtel sympa, personnel agréable, bonne situation géographique, très spacieux
Super schöne Apartments in zentraler Lage und sehr freundliches Personal
Zu wenig Sonnenliegen beim Pool
The friendly staff, the location and the bed was extremelycomfortable. The breakfast was great, lots of choices and everything I has was delicious.
Nothing, loved it all
The building is tired. But the staff more than compensate. I became ill Christmas Day and the staff went above and beyond to assist on many levels. Special thanks toJoshua. As an elderly female solo traveller this was very much appreciated
Staff across the board were genuine and caring.
The apartment I rented was comfortable and ultra-convenient. I made good use of both the microwave and the washing machine. The bed was divine!
The staff working at Protea North Wharf were excellent, too. Everyone was cheerful and ever-ready to help.
- The room I was assigned was located right next to the elevator and the area where the cleaners' carts were stored. This created quite a bit of noise.
- On the last day, there was no hot water.
Prompt and professional service. Many thanks!!
Amazing staff you can’t ask for better
