We had a very good expérience in this hôtel. Swimming pool very nice ! (No sea water) Beach cool ! Excellent food (and local food) Nice rooms and facilities in général. For the Price we paid this is excellent !

We booked the hotel with 2 adults and 2 kids and were expecting a 4 star hotel. After arriving in the hotel room we saw that the room was pretty dirty , between the floor tiles dirty ,cob webs on ceiling and basically all little corners dirty. The room was renovated with cheap furniture not what you would expect in a 4 star hotel. Later we found out that the airco couldn't be turned off at night. One tv wasn't working.Breakfast eggs had green/blue color....95 % sweet breakfast. As I mentioned the reception straight away the we want to leave and get a refund for the days we didn't stay it was impossible to get in contact with a manager?! We stayed 1 more night and then left after 2 nights in stead of 3 nights. Paying 1200 euro... don't go there if you expect 4 star service and quality

Hotellet är belägget på ett lugnt och fint ställe, restaurangen serverar bra mat men det är inte transparent vad det är man betalar för såsom dricka etc.
På slutet får man räkning där man inte har så mycket och säga till i och med att det inte framgår vad det kostade och beställa såsom vin, dricka till mat etc. Allt läggs på rummet och det kan skilja rätt mycket mellan antalet som man verkligen har beställt. Men eftersom det saknas ordentligts menyer med prissättning så har man inte så mycket och säga till.
Det hade varit bättre med transparens mellan hotell och gäster så man slipper missförstånd!

Although this property is rated as a four-star hotel, our experience did not reflect that standard. The rooms were quite basic, and the beds lacked comfort. We found the staff to be largely disengaged and not particularly helpful during our stay.

Dining options were extremely limited, with only one nearby restaurant within walking distance. Throughout our five-day visit, we were unable to secure a dinner reservation at the hotel and ultimately had to rent a car to access dining options in the downtown area each evening. On the one occasion we had lunch on-site, service was very slow, and the steak we ordered was disappointing in both quality and flavor.

On a positive note, the beach is beautiful, and we were able to enjoy our vacation primarily due to the flexibility afforded by our rental car and the scenic day trips we took.

It’s also worth noting that while the hotel listing on Expedia advertises airport shuttle service, this comes at an additional cost. Guests should also be aware that there are daily fees for changing beach towels, and beach chairs incur extra charges as well.

So far not a four star experience. Asked to book for dinner when we arrived. No we are full was the reply. Had a great meal at Il Galleone though. Last night the ambience was of a wedding. Nothing wrong with that but the wedding guests were clearly more important than we paying customers here for rather longer. Breakfast was embarrassing. No welcome. Good detritus over uncleared tables. No contact with staff other than one harassed girl who took us to a table, reversed the place name on it and whilst we were halfway through our meal another customer questioned why we were seated at their reserved table! I guess we won't be eating here again this week and Il Galleone will welcome us.

Advantages of the hotel:

• Location in a beautiful bay with a romantic private beach.
• Close to Alghero and the airport.
• Cleanliness.

Disadvantages of the hotel:

• In the rooms, you can hear all the noise from the corridors. The walls are poorly constructed, and absolutely everything from the corridor can be heard in the rooms. Especially in the connecting corridors, where there are heavy entrance doors that make a terrible noise every time someone passes by. Be prepared for the door banging to disturb you even at night, as long as people are moving around.
• Unfortunately, the biggest weakness of this hotel is the food. The hotel management should seriously consider changing the chef of the restaurant. To some extent, it is tolerable that the food is poorly presented and sometimes it looks unattractive. However, in a 4-star hotel, it is unacceptable for food to be undercooked, with meat often so tough and raw that it’s impossible to chew! Main dishes are served without adequate side dishes. During our stay, we experienced a comically disproportionate example—some starters were many times larger than the portion of the side dish for the main course. Every day, they post a menu on the board from which you can both lunch and dinner. The selection is very limited, and the English translation looks machine-generated. It’s clear that Person in charge has lack of imagination and does not have awareness of modern cuisine. The worst part is that you simply can’t eat well here. Don’t waste money on full board or half board. If you have a car, it’s better to eat in Alghero or nearby Fertilia.

Very attractive resort, Mediterranean but modern property extends side to side with buildings in a U, so everyone has a view. Staff was so friendly and helpful from front desk to bartenders. Spacious patio overlooking the sea. Only issue was probably personal- bed was a bit hard. But I made a comfy place in the daybed and slept very well.

This is not a 4 star hôtel is a 2 or 3 star hôtel. We booked with breakfast but not with lunch or dinner because we wanted to go out to visit the island and because of that we didn’t have the right to eat at the restaurant even if we wanted to pay for the food the days we decided not to go out…and the hotel was in the middle of nowhere, so, even if it was a restaurant close to the hotel, the night we decided to rest, that restaurant was full, and we had to go to bed without eating anything. Any way the food at the hotel was not very good either.


People at the reception was nice but they couldn’t do anything for us because rules are rules. Also they were not informed about the activities they promote with publicity at the reception.

We are not going back there.

我們租赁两部車輛自駕遊，24年5月2日，其中一部車輛爆呔，另一車輛回到旅店，要求職員協助致電租車公司，但租車公司電話未能接通，職員Monia多次致電，她建議我們從租賃合約找尋電話號碼，她協助下，成功聯絡公司，處理壞車。當托車到達時，托車職員未能以英語溝通，男經理亦作翻譯，指示托車職員。
我們對旅店員工專業態度和熱心助客的精神，表示最至誠的讚揚。

Non danno informazione

Stayed in this hotel in a group. It is superbly situated on a private beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas. It has few amenities within walking distance. The building inside has very attractive public rooms. The bedrooms with efficient A/C controlled by the hotel, TV and fridge. However they are colourless, no pictures, no rugs on the floor. Servicing the bedroom was haphazard sometimes in the morning, sometimes late afternoon. Although the towels were changed every day, unnecessary, my sheets were only changed after 6 days. Flimsy clear plastic glasses were expected to last all week. Hardly 4 star. The food menu was very varied but presentation sadly lacking, portions over large leading to a lot of waste and the quality of the frozen and tinned kind and usually lukewarm. A buffet lunch would have been preferable.
The staff were lovely.

Hotel Porto Conte is a lovely beach hotel located on a fine sandy beach in the beautiful Porto Conte bay. The beach is reserved for hotel guests and there are enough umbrellas and beach chairs for everyone. It is quiet and peaceful here, and the place exudes a real beach hotel atmosphere. Our room was okay, had a nice sea view from the balcony - the bathroom was small but the shower worked well. Air conditioning is controlled by the hotel staff, it was annoying not being able to determine the temperature and strength yourself. Everywhere is clean and tidy, the common areas are inviting and in the hotel's small café you can get snacks, cold drinks and beer. You can choose quarter, half or full board, we had half board. It turned out to be a good idea, as the area around the hotel does not offer any other dining or shopping opportunities. The food is taken in the hotel's dining room in the fixed place and with normal procedures. The staff are really welcoming and helpful, although English is definitely not their best side.
Pros: space on the beach, peace and quiet for relaxation, good atmosphere.
Cons: slightly remote location, food not particularly refined, aircondition

L’albergo è situato in una posizione incantevole e in mezzo al verde. La struttura è molto bella, ristorante ottimo e personale molto professionale e gentile. Magnifica esperienza!

The hotel was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bay is stunning and with its pool and private beach there are plenty of places to relax in the sun. However, if your aim is to explore the local towns then you are in for an expensive time. The nearest large town, Alghero, is approximately a 25 minute taxi journey away and at the cost of 35€ one way, it’s not the cheapest mode of transport. There is a limited bus service. Also, the food was a little disappointing. There was plenty of it but it was often cold and the choices were limited. We were served sprouts as a vegetable on our first evening! Not really something I would really expect in Italy!
However, overall, it was a great holiday in a pleasant surroundings.

La situation géographique pour visiter le parc
Est excellente. On entend tout ce qui ce passe dans la chambre de notre voisin!

Hotel itself is pretty average. But the diner was very good indeed. Overall good for the people who like swimming and quiet leasure. Not far from Alghero if you have a car.

Many foreign group tours; they were making quite some noise on the corridor.
The room was on the first floor and very old fashioned. No English channels on TV.
We stayed two nights, on the second day, we could find almost no food in the dinning room. Taste and quality was not excellent.
There are not many staff around so that we were not looked after very well.
Bus service to the town was not convenient, you should drive all the time, which means you cannot drink much alcohol at the restaurant.
Private beach was too small to put so many beach beds, swimming pool was relatively small, and there is only one.
