Good hotel near to town
Pros:

I have stayed at the Toscana several times over the years and it's always been a pleasant experience, the staff are friendly, polite and try their best to help wherever you need it. It is on the outskirts of the town centre and is an easy 15min walk into town.

Cons:

There's no facilities for making a drink of tea or coffee, as far as I can make out you either use the machines or go to a local cafe (which tend to close early).

Good location, but tired rooms and bathrooms in need of a refurb. Certainly not 4 star.
Pros:

Beds were comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was good and location near the railway station a plus.

Cons:

The room was pretty spartan and in need of a refresh. It needed redecorating and the bathroom renovation as it appears to have been some time since it was upgraded. Also there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We were disappointed given its 4 star rating.

Disappointing.
Pros:

Bed was comfy

Cons:

Room smelt bad like dust, light fixing leaked water in the bathroom throughout our stay. I understand this was due to a flood in the room above but we came down twice. They wouldn’t lets us move rooms as there was apparently none available although you could still book online for that night. They offered no solution to the issue either or any reimbursement / complimentary items - nothing not even an apology - it just is what it is. Also breakfast finished before 10:30am as advertised. We wanted to just grab something like a pastry on our way out but by 10:25am the entire restaurant was empty and there was nothing on display which is frustrating as I booked for breakfast and that’s part of the value of the stay which was not received. The area isn’t the nicest either. I do not know how it is 4 star. Our bathroom tiles were cracked in multiple places too and our aircon didn’t work no matter what we did. The phone/landline in the room had no connection and no dial tone so I couldn’t call down to reception either which is meant to be 24/7.Nothing like the photos.

Cons:

Reserve una habitación que ponía 1 cama o 2 camas, cuando llegue , la persona que me atendió me dijo que solo tenía habitaciones con una cama , teniendo que pagar otra habitación para poder dormir , cuando entramos a la primera resultó que tenía dos camas y dormimos con mi hermano en la misma habitación, me hicieron pagar dos habitaciones sin motivo, no repetiré la estancia con ambasador

Buono solo per una notte o due al massimo se volete spender poco.

La colazione varia e ben fornita. Il personale per lo più gentile.

Cons:

La camera era a livelli da hotel di una stella/pensione.
Porta carta igienica rotto. Rubinetto rotto. Scarico wc non funzionante. Assenza di carta igienica e asciugamano da doccia al mio arrivo. Rubinetteria fatiscente. Piastrelle con fughe annerite e mai pulite.

Colazione con ampia scelta di prodotti, camera pulita e spaziosa. Qua è la’ segni del tempo, come la doccia che perdeva acqua e lo sciacquone rotto. Da un 4 stelle mi aspetto un po più di cura. Però il prezzo era congruo
