Much improved rooms
We liked the fact the hotel was very central making it extremely easy to walk into the town centre and along the river.
The rooms were a bit dark and gloomy, could do with more brighter lighting in the room. We were charged £10 to have a cot in the room on arrival which we weren’t told about when booking. We have never been charged for a cot for our baby in as many hotels we have stayed at. This was a first to our surprise! On arrival into the room we found the collapsable cot was not even erected and locked out properly so we had to call the hotel staff to rectify this being as they charged us to set the cot up!

Bathroom was difficult to access to close door behind one.

Air con was extremely noisy and either blowing hot or cold directly over the bed.
I could have booked a Premier Inn for less money, the reason I booked with this hotel was it was supposed to be a better service and quality. I shoukd have booked the other hotel and saved some money.

Very dated and room wasn’t very clean and comfortable. Air con and heating wasn’t working and only a stand alone heater placed in room. Charged for parking when it wasn’t transparent on booking
Awesome location with a great view of the river and centrally located. Bed was extremely comfy!
The room smelled very strongly of bleach and was tired, could do with renovation and a deep clean, it was a bit dirty (marks on wall and bed)
