Pros:

It has recently done refurbishment in many of the rooms and they are clean and quiet. Good concierge who are very helpful. Nice breakfast.

we booked a 1 night stay to go to a festival in the amphitheater which was just across the street. unusual to have anything within walking distance of a hotel in Dubai!

as a VIP access property, they did offer an upgrade at check in but we declined as they only had smoking rooms available and we are non smokers. we were not offered the other perks that would have been available to us if we took the upgrade such as access to the club lounge

Pros:

Nice location. Easy walk to Marina. Concierge service wa great! He arranged a day tour to let us visited Many Dubai landmarks that we couldn't do by ourselves. The tour driver is very nice too.

The hotel is in a good location. The price is good comparing what they offer.

The only bad thing very bad smell coming out from the bathroom and carpets have to be cleaned more frequently because they smell around dirty.

We booked 4 nights at this hotel after using the Radisson chain before.

The hotel was about 30-40 minutes via taxi at 10pm and cost 100 AED.

The hotel is walking distance to both tram and metro with direct line to the Dubai Marina and Burj Khalifa/Airport so it’s in a good location.

The hotel room was spacious for 2 people. Walk in shower and bathroom.

The hotel has 2 swimming pools which we used - hotel provides towels.

The staff were helpful and welcoming. We had booked a desert safari (separately from the hotel) but they cancelled 10 minutes before. The hotel concierge overheard and was trying to find a tour operator to take us last minute. He contacted someone who agreed a price, but did not know the company name and was insistent on booking. We did not want to do all the activities in the package and it was agreed we get a cheaper price for not doing them. We agreed the price and booked, however, when they called back to confirm, the price doubled and included the activities we didn’t want to do - we tried cancelled, however they said we need to pay a cancellation fee and very insistent. This felt it was being booked with one of their friends rather than a tour company.

There was a huge selection of breakfast options.

I would stay here again.

We had a brief one day stay at the Radisson Blu Media City. Our room was very small and was barely able to fit our limited luggage. The room was very old, worn out and definitely looked like it needed to be renovated. Neither the fridge or cooling unit worked well. Not recommended.

Not the cleanest radisson i have stayed in. Bathroom was not cleaned properly, soap from previous guest still there when we checked in. Alerted the staff but it was never removed. Location ok, breakfast excellent, pool ok
