Staff and our room.
Partition door between our room and next door was not sound proof so we could hear occupants as if they were in our room.
Dinner was very poorly prepared and badly cooked.
The Guy at Reception was lovely and helpful.
The cleaning staff were rude and basically shouted and accused me of something I did not do.

The restaurant staff were wonderful.
Our room wasn't ready at 3.10 pm, when we arrived after a five hour drive. The manager on reception was very rude to me and said if I couldn't wait for the room, then he'd have to downgrade our room to one that was ready. His attitude was appalling and I shall never stay here again. We have been staying here for four times a year, for many years.
The breakfast was very poor quality, just warm and not hot, and not all items were replenished.
Lovely that they've kept to the 1920 's theme. Hotel has a friendly & cosy atmosphere. This was my second stay here & hope to return.
no heating or air conditioning in the room, sat for 5 hours in the lobby while waiting to check in, altho id did state check in at 3, we were waiting to be called as that was what we were told, when i went and asked if any update i was told room was ready? we were given a plug in dry electric heater instead which created a dry uncomfortable heat and was not possible to regulate, staff seemed inconvenienced by guests in the property,
The bed was comfy, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good.
The room was not clean, apart from the bed, could not tell if towels had been used as hung up in shower, mini fridge was not stocked with water, bathroom was not clean, toothpaste on the surfaces and ?nail clippings on the floor, cot requested for the baby was soiled, so a new one was requested. Room had a foul odour.
Location, easy reach of city centre and parking was a bonus.
Surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to the airport. The hotel is very conveniently located right next to the New Mersey Shopping Centre, with plenty of dining options and a nearby grocery store. Bus stops are practically right in front of the hotel, which made getting around very easy.
We arrived very late, around 2 a.m., and were accommodated immediately without any issues, which we really appreciated. The room was cleaned daily, including trash removal, and overall housekeeping was reliable.
The room was well equipped, with a TV (mostly ITV channels, plus YouTube available on an LG set), a bathtub, ironing facilities, a hairdryer, bathrobes, and towels. A nice bonus was the availability of both UK and EU power plugs. The area behind the hotel offers few old planes to make some pictures. A big advantage was that no prepayment was required — payment was made upon arrival
Limited lighting in the room, with relatively small windows and dim lights at night. The minibar only included two cans of water. Also, the shower gel bottle in the bathroom was empty. The area behind the hotel is a bit neglected and not very inviting.
