Good service
Was too hot, no AC and heaters put in room when weather was hot
The only positive note about this hotel was its close proximity to the airport.
Negatives:
- No AC. Unbearably hot.
- Dirty carpet and shower curtains
- No shampoo in the dispenser?
- No room service
- Can't ask the restaurant to add food to your room tab?
- No telephone in the room? How can we contact staff in case of emergency?
Positives:
- Room service lady and waiter helped us with the food and water.
Location
The air conditioning wasn’t working - we had been emailed to say the heating system wasn’t working but no mention of air conditioning and if we would have known this we wouldn’t have stayed as we had zero sleep! Also the staff gave us incorrect information regarding the swimming times we took our kids over at 7am like they suggested and when we got there we were told kids only allowed after 9.30am - we had 2 very upset kids!

Heating was broken so rooms were too hot which they knew about but did not get any compensation
Excellent location, close to airport without the hassle of staying on airport site. Plenty of car parking spaces. Beautiful hotel, Excellent rooms. Friendly staff.
Air-conditioning units in rooms don't seem to work. Our group had 5 rooms and air-conditioning did not work in any of them. Beds are comfortable but not a great nights sleep on a warm night. Air-conditioning would make this hotel perfect.
The property itself was fine
I have asked numerous times about an invoice as I was on a business trip and I need to claim expenses. I have sent several emails, called multiple times (a deadline) called booking.com and another Crowne plaza hotel and still nothing?!
Only positives are the restaurant and bar staff.
No Air conditioning in any of the bedrooms. Stayed 3 nights. No compensation. Flimsy, ineffective fan provided.
Fridge turned off in room. Housekeeping pulled out fridge from built in surround to reach socket to turn on. I think this was deliberate to save money on energy.
Food awful. Asked for poached eggs; arrived rock hard. Very poor quality breakfast buffet. Coffee served cold.
Room and bed were comfortable. Great location as across road from restaurants and shops.

Air con is switched off at hotel. Outside appearance is very old and tired. Poor quality food at breakfast buffet, including the cold meat, sliced fruits and cold juices. Overcooked eggs and tasteless hash browns.
This is not a 4 star hotel. But would have returned again if breakfast was better quality food.
NO AC
We didn't stay.
The hotel was advertised as air-conditioned throughout. When we arrived we were checked in, and payment taken, but when we reached our room it was very hot (this was during the June heatwave with evening temperatures still in the mid-30s celsius). I contacted reception to ask how to turn on the airconditioning, and was told that the whole system was inoperative and in the process of being replaced. I queried why the hotel website still advertised it as air-conditioned, and was told that there had been a warning banner, but it had been removed. I consider this to be false advertising, verging on fraud. We decided to stay elsewhere. The receptionist could not have been more helpful, apologising and agreeing to process a refund, we're waiting for that.

Sadly Aircon was broke but we were forewarned and fans were supplied. Would certainly stay there again.
