Room corridors were like being in a dungeon

The general manager on the day a little stumpy blonde woman I asked for our bed to be changed and she point blank lied to me saying there was no house staff in and when I went to upstairs there as the house cleaning manager there and she agreed to come and do my bedding other than that excellent hotel staff are always Bobb on apart from

Reception and pool staff were very helpful/welcoming. Leisure facilities were very good; clean and well laid-out.
The hotel bedroom had a fan to help with temperature control in the warm weather.
We had a drink outside (due to the warm weather, but bar staff didn't come to wipe tables or remove dirty glasses for the whole time we were there.

Unbearably hot in the bedrooms, ac wasn’t working at all.
Restaraunt was closed in the evening, but the bar was good enough, we enjoyed the burger meal deal, pizzas for kids were huge and filling. great staff service too.
having to pay extra for the pool which we did not use.
