You can’t fault the location. 5 min walk from metro station. Very convenient. But that’s it - it’s not worth paying the money just for the location. After all, it’s definitely not a 4* hotel!

The size of the room is ok, though as many others have suggested, it needs refurbishment as things are starting to fall apart. For example, the shower floor is wooden deck and when you step on it, it sinks and feels like it’s about to break any minute!

I booked the room weeks ahead, and requested for a room on a higher floor. Guess what I got? A room on the first door, and of course that’s the only room available in the entire hotel. The room was so dark and lacked natural night.

Reception was under staffed. 1 person available at 3pm on a Saturday. There was only 1 person being served in front of us but we ended up waiting for 10 mins before we were checked in. By the time we were done, there were at least 5 other people queuing behind us.

Breakfast was horrible. It’s not a 4* hotel quality at all. The scrambled eggs were cold and solid. Looked like it was sitting there for a long time.

I was so disappointed provided it got decent ratings. I travel to BCN regularly but definitely would not be staying at this hotel again.

It was nice end fine. Merlene was very helpfully.
Breakfast is very good. Good location. Close to the metro station, mall.

This was our second time staying at this hotel.

After meticulously following the long list of steps needed to use the in-room safe, which can only be accessed by using a credit card (no key pad options), the safe alarm started ringing. It was impossible to stop. The front desk suggested I follow the steps properly to make it stop. Which I had, numerous times already! I've never seen a more useless and absolutely ridiculous in-room safe and "security" features.

The front desk asked us to wait until his colleague arrived and they would be able to help stop the in-room safe alarm. But after a long wait I had to ask for help once more. In fact, I asked to simply change my room, as the noise was annoying and grating. To which front desk said that it's not a valid reason to change room.

When staff finally arrived to fix the issue and reset the safe, they pulled out the room key from the electrical socket so violently that it stopped working. The electrical system in the entire room was officially out of service.

So now front desk is getting us a new room. Not because of the safe, but because the staff was so frantic and careless. To "appease" us, they said they would upgrade our room. And what an upgrade it was! It was the exact same room, minus the slippers that came included. Oh, and the broken and unusable fake Nespresso-type machine.

After more than 12-hours of flight travel, the last thing I want to deal with when I arrive at my hotel is stupidity.

Excellent stay. Walking distance to the Arena mall, hop on hop off buses. Very comfortable bed, excellent service from all staff. Good breakfast.

Very convenient location, walking distance to Train station. Friendly staff! The room is clean with decent amount of space. Highly recommend! Will stay again.

Non working jacuzzi. The hallways to the rooms didn’t have air conditioning. The room air conditioning was too uncomfortable keep it on.

Clean and a nice location near a metro station, with pleasant staff. Hotel is old and worn inside, with peeling edges and worn upholstery……Not bad, but old and out of date. Not a “boutique hotel”, even if maybe it was. Container for facial tissues broke when I went to use it, no USB power ports, a weird switch for lighting that is hard to use in the dark. Lots of little things that show how out of date and poorly maintained it is - but ultimately clean and near Sants train station.

I am still staying at this hotel but not happy or impressed at all first I am unable to have a bath when the website states only you can’t use the Jacuzzi next I can’t just got to the sauna I have to ask and wait and there is nothing telling me to do this all in all the service etc is far from impressive and not worth the monies I paid Which I chose the hotel in order to have a functioning bath in my room not happy and hope to hear back soon

It wasn’t the best area, there was nothing around it, but it was close to public transportation

Everything was perfect, the personnel was very friendly and helpful. The room was equipped with everything we needed and clean. Breakfast couldn't be better.
The pillows were the best we ever had in a hotel. :-)
