Bonne situation et bel environnement pour un roadtrip
Pros:

Séjour très agréable, super emplacement, bel environnement et personnel très sympa
Le restaurant était très bon, petit déjeuner moyen

Cons:

Il y avait une forte odeur (d’égout ? Évacuation ?) dans la chambre/salle de bain, ce qui a perturbé notre séjour.
Les douches de la piscine étaient froides
C’est dommage

A perfect peaceful & scenic escape from the busier, more 'touristy' parts of Maderia.
Pros:

Charming traditional-style hotel, bright & nicely decorated. Peaceful village location in beautiful surroundings. Good location for exploring north-coast towns & walking trails.

Good bones but lacking in content and service quality
Pros:

Hotel surroundings were nice but amenities were sorely lacking. Similar 3* hotels in the area had included a fridge, water boiler and drinking cups. We ended up borrowing the boiler and cups from the front desk.

We had half board arranged. The food on the first night was terrible. Tasteless soup with chicken bits and rice. The waiter told us they ran out of potatoes and couldn't make chips. But the opposite table had two servings of chips and other tables arriving later had chips as well. We questioned the waiter who went to ask the chef who relented and gave us chips (half a portion of what others were getting). All in all, we felt like we were a burden to the cook.

The next day's dinner was thankfully better. All in all, not good value, not welcoming.

Nettes Restaurant mit freundlichen Personal. Ideal für einen Zwischenstopp für eine Wanderung.

Cons:

Da schlechtes Wetter war, wäre eine funktionierende Heizung von Vorteil gewesen.
