If I go to Sorrento again, this is the place I would choose everytime.
Pros:

The views are amazing. Food is great. The room was excellent. The staff was great.

Cons:

Wish it were easier to arrange an airport transfer online. Seemed a bit outdated to fill out a paper to arrange for transfer.

A grand experience
Pros:

This hotel is grand indeed. Very big and very upscale. Stunning grounds and stunning views. Lots of lovely places in which to gather and relax. Easy walk to the center of town, with all the shops and restaurants

Great hotel for a relaxing break in the next to the centre of Sorrento
Pros:

The location and facilities of the hotel couldn't be better. It feels secluded but is a 5 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento, the pool area has an incredible view and has great pools, and the breakfasts are lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable with friendly staff willing to help with anything throughout your stay.

Beautiful location
Pros:

Excellent facilities, beautiful location, pool, and restaurant. Truly a gem in sorrento and one that I would come back to every year. The proximity to town is perfect too.

Cons:

This was a repeat stay as we enjoyed ourselves so much and it was a tad bit disappointing this year for service/ cleanliness, perhaps because it was noticeably busier. The bathroom soap bar was reused (had hair/ dirt on it, the inscription was faded) and the staff were a little less helpful. The facilities were still excellent as always, but hopefully it will be better next year.

6 Star Hotel in every respect!
Pros:

Magnificent hotel in every aspect. Rooms were immaculate and comfortable. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. When we return to Sorrento, we will stay at the Grand Hotel Capodimonte again.

A relaxing getaway from the crowds.
Pros:

A beautiful property in a very convenient location to the old town. Elegant pool and facilities.

Cons:

Small things only such not using fresh milk in the caffe. And long waits for the cooked breakfasts. But they were minor matters.

Lovely location / view, great hotel and friendly staff
Pros:

Location, room cleanliness, view from room and staff friendliness

Cons:

Some noisy children in pool some days. No problem with kids having fun in pool but it was very loud and no one gave them a quiet ask of keep the noise down. Hotel is not kids hotel and should maintain that atmosphere.

World recommend as a base from which to explore the Amalfi coast.
Pros:

Great old charm hotel with nice spaces, amazing views and pleasant staff. Probably a bit overpriced but I guess that’s Sorrento. Great location.
