Location was good.
Pool and other areas were under construction and we were offered to get refund and go to another hotel. Too much hassle to do that. Room was ok, but hotel needs updating. Luggage cart was awful. I didn't really care to hear a cat meowing...didn't realize animals would be on our floor. With allergies to cats, I should have moved when offered...
We had made a reservation to stay here but they had no record of it. Luckily they had a room we could rent.
Would have been location.
They were under renovation and the amount I paid was not adequate. They should have let me know as soon as I made the reservation. Not tell until I was checking in.
Cleanliness
Could of had more breakfast items
Both Great
Easy entrance and exit and everyone was friendly
Nothing very good place to stay
Great staff, delicious breakfast!
Steer clear. This place may be in the middle of a "renovation" but even with any update it's not a place to recommend. The highway nearby is too loud of course, but the walls are extra thin, so that didn't help and you can hear everything outside your room. The elevator feels like it's going fall or malfunction at any moment. The ice machines aren't working on all floors. The sink in our room was draining slowly. I really could go on, but you should just pick another plade to stay. Getting an email from the hotel manager days before letting us know about the renovations wasn't all that helpful, but they were sure to tell us that no discounts would be applied.
I think this helped turn me away from Hampton Inns in general. For a budget hotel that has consistency, I will be looking at Holiday Inn Express going forward.
Spalding bathtub
Poor tv picture
Hopefully the remodel will be completed soon
Great overnight stop. The only thing is that it is under renovation, which didn’t affect our stay. The pool and hot tub area are closed due to renovations. The room was updated, very clean and spacious. The morning breakfast was nice as well. The best thing is Cracker Barrel is right next door which was great since we were pulling a trailer behind us.
The place was torn apart for remodeling. We stayed elsewhere.
Hotel is under construction although our room was refurbished. The hotel still felt old. No gluten free options for breakfast in terms of bread items. The parking lot surface was a mess with construction and concerns of nails in my tires. I would not stay there again.
At least they are honest. When you make your reservation they will immediately call you and explain the "renovation". But the explanation doesn't really do justice to the magnitude of the construction. None of the normal amenities are available: No pool, no laundry, no gym, parking lot completely torn up with fencing constricting the area. Halls really old and dirty. Apparently some rooms have been renovated, but not the one I was given. Two thoughts: For just a nights sleep arriving late and leaving early its OK, No way should the hotel be open during such major construction let alone still charging full price for rooms and property in such condition. But my bad, I was warned 🤣
