Garden Hotel

Luigi was awesome!! . I was running late and he really helped me, stayed in contact, the hotel was beautiful wood and marble. I definitely coming back next summer. Thanks again, Antonio.

Room had ants in it. Breakfast was cakes and sweets. No Restaurant for lunch or dinner. There are no alternative places to eat in the immediate area. There is no concierge after 10 pm. Its saving grace was a big pool. The gardens are not kept well and ivy is growing over the trees. Keep well clear of this hotel. My worst experience in 40 years of travel. Staff friendly . It’s got alot of potential, it must have been a grand place to stay once upon a time

This place is practically closed.
The pool area is sad as there is a pool bar and bbq area that hasnt been used in at least a decade. My wife had to sweep the area up before she sunbathed on horrid dirty plastic sunbeds. There is no restaurant on site as its closed down and no bar either.
The lobby is dark and gloomy and all the sofas smell of cat urine and feces.
Breakfast is not worth getting up for as its just s few sweet cakes and horrible coffee. There is no tv lounge as advertised and the staff cant speak a word of English even though it states that the staff are multi lingual. This us a depressing place to stay i could leave quick enough.

1 nuit passé ici et c'est très bien car l'Hôtel est vieillissant et franchement un peu lugubre. Impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre ni même les volets. Seul point positif l'espace piscine qui est très joliment végétalisé. Infrastructure, restaurant et bar piscine mais tout est fermé en plein mois d'aout. Cet hôtel a du être un très bel hôtel mais dans les années 80.

Very friendly staff but they didn’t speak English or understand us. Very far away from the city centre, only one bus go sometimes, bus stop was 15 minutes walk away, no restaurants near, no hotel restaurant, old building, old furniture, you can easily hear noise from other rooms, warm fridge.

Overall it was okay.Super tiny room,the shower cabinet was so tiny that I couldn’t even turn.Not the best experience at all.

Tldr: I totally love this place.

I was really surprised to learn the hotel was built in 1993, I had it marked as 20 years before that. The building, the signage, the fittings, even the coffee cups have a dapple of disco era cool. You can easily imagine some heavy boned made guy in smugglers and a ten tonne 'tache entertaining, I dunno, Claudia Cardinal at the swim up bar. I bet there were scenes. Now, though, the laminate is peeling and the cistern trickles insouciantly. Breakfast is a nespresso and a slice of cake from Lidl, but that's all you need after two gallons of fizzy wine, right? The staff are perfectly good natured as they go about doing the least they could possibly do. But you don't come here to enjoy the present, you come here to breathe the glory of the recent past. Very nice location, easy commute to city center and surrounding towns.

This hotel was as good as closed the pool area was unkempt it was in the middle of nowhere and the restaurant which was advertised was closed. There was literally nobody there and we have been told the hotel is closing down next week. It should never have been open, we seen approx 12 people in the 4 days we were there. It is possibly a result of Covid 19 and that’s sad however it should most definitely not have been open

Le choix s’est porté sur cet hôtel à la vue de la magnifique photo de la piscine
Quelle déception à l’arrivée en découvrant que celle ci n’était déjà plus en service, la terrasse laissée à l’abandon depuis a priori quelques jours au vue des feuilles mortes laissées à terre
Accueil tout à fait cordial, repas pris au restaurant de l’hôtel (un peu cher) mais bon
Chambre propre, un peu mal insonorisée, avec un mobilier assez ancien en bois sombre
La nuit fut bonne mais je garde la déception de la piscine déjà fermée ce 9 octobre

We stayed here for one night and it was very nice. The rooms are specious with an old style hotel standard. Great bathroom and shower. The pool area is absolutely fantastic – almost no one was there using it. The restaurant is good with a good choice of pastas and pizzas – nothing amazing. Breakfast was so so – but with the usual cakes breads etc. I would definitely stay here again.
