All very good.
Great Job!
Ok hotel. No real welcome. Couldn't find our booking no communication about that by the boss Daniel. Finally found it. Did not explain that if we took wrong lift we would end up in hotel next door. Otherwise clean but dated. Breakfast fantastic & rest of staff good! Restaurant next door excellent - the boss - fabulous & food too!
Good location for exploring all the sites everywhere is walking distance except the Vatican.
We had a basic room that was clean and a comfortable bed.
The roof garden is nice for breakfast especially the very top terrace.
Only downside was lots of wasps and pigeons in August.
Staff were good and efficient.
Would recommend
This hotel was stunning. Staff friendly and hotel was spotless. The views from the Roof Terrace were stunning! Only criticism I have is that there is 1 small lift on which is slow, especially in the mornings around breakfast and check out time
The room was a comfortable size for three people and very clean. My only real complaint was that the refrigerator never got cold, even after maintenance came to check it, and the air conditioning struggled to keep up with the outside heat. The hotel’s breakfast was adequate—nothing special—and after two days it did start to feel a bit repetitive.
The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and the location was excellent. Being so close to Termini Station made getting around incredibly convenient. Pro tip: if you’re waiting on the main elevator while guests with luggage load in and out, there’s a smaller elevator around the back. It only fits two people and no luggage, but it’s almost always free.
Overall, despite a couple of minor issues, I would stay here again.
Hotel staff and room was lovely. Food was absolutely poor, set menu and we only liked 2 things from it and then after the beef fillet my wife has been throwing up and diarrhea since Tuesday night. We got home friday night and its now sunday and shes still poorly.
Very clean and friendly staff. Loved the location for Metro access and walkable distance to main attractions. Air conditioning worked okay. Showers had good water pressure.
Our safe was broken. The gentleman took the batteries out, but never came back with replacement ones 😒
Very well located property. I have honestly never been to a cleaner hotel so full marks for that. The rooms are the size you would expect for a capital city....if you are large people you might struggle.
The staff are neutral with only the bar man going out of his way to be cheerful.
Pros-
Location, value for money, cleanliness, comfortable beds and pillows, beautiful roof top. Free water machine.
Cons -
The breakfast is not what I expect from a 4 star establishment.
Excellent breakfast! Very friendly helpful staff. Good location lots of good restaurants close by to choose from and walking distance to major attractions. Also rooms were very quiet, we didn’t hear other guests.
The lift! It was super slow! Especially when you are on a higher floor.
Hotel is ideally placed for the tourist spots. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. However, the rooms air conditioning is rubbish and not up to the job if keeping the rooms cool. Other guests we spoke to said exactly the same as us. This made for a uncomfortable room to be in and especially sleep in.
Located a few streets from the termini, good central position for sightseeing and exploring.
Lovely reception and foyer with plenty of seating. Lifts to all floors
Staff very polite and friendly
Room was slightly smaller than expected from the pictures, but did have hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We were on the sixth floor and our room overlooked a back square with air conditioning pipes running up walls,so not very pretty and quite noisy. Description states has digital TV but was pretty useless. Remote control was inadequate could with great difficulty get BBC news which was quite depressing. We were there in the heatwave, so needed to spend some time in the room during the heat of the day. Did have a mini bar which we did not use, but was not extortionate if needed. Rooms cleaned each day. Air-conditioning was turned off between 10am and 11am each day as hotel policy which seems to be common to save energy in hotels.
Breakfast was very nice with a good choice of hot and cold, a drinks machine for hot drinks.served on the seventh floor, with indoor and outdoor seating.
The bar itself was open from midday and was a nice refuge for a rest and a beer, food available to order. The barman was a lovely young man very polite
We stayed at Hotel Diana on a seven-night half-board holiday and, unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.
The biggest issue was the evening meal arrangement. Half-board guests were given a very limited set menu that remained virtually unchanged throughout our stay. This was never explained before booking. Had we known we would not have access to the main restaurant menu, we would have chosen a different hotel.
The menu offered very little variety. Around three-quarters of the dishes were fish, which my wife does not eat, leaving very few realistic options. Vegetarians would have had even less choice. One of the main courses was completely raw minced beef, which may be a local delicacy but is unlikely to appeal to many British holidaymakers.
We raised our concerns with reception on several occasions. Initially, we were told the manager would not be available for three days. After insisting on speaking to someone, we were promised a different menu the following evening, but this never happened. We were then told the restricted menu was simply hotel policy.
The hotel tried a few one-off solutions, including offering my wife a plain pizza and later saying the chef would prepare something different. When she requested simple Italian classics such as lasagne or spaghetti Bolognese, neither could be provided. Instead, she was served a very basic pasta dish consisting of plain pasta, chopped tomatoes and a few cubes of cheese. It was extremely poor and certainly not what we expected from a hotel restaurant.
After repeated broken promises, we gave up eating in the hotel restaurant altogether and paid to eat elsewhere for the remainder of our holiday. We also stopped using the hotel bar because, after making our complaints, we no longer felt welcome.
The accommodation itself was acceptable, but the half-board experience completely spoiled what should have been an enjoyable holiday. After returning home, I discovered numerous TripAdvisor reviews from other guests describing the same issues with the half-board menu, suggesting this is an ongoing problem rather than an isolated incident.
If you're considering staying here, I would strongly recommend booking room only or bed and breakfast and eating elsewhere. I certainly would not recommend the half-board option unless the hotel makes it clear before booking exactly what is included.
The property was great. It was clean ,spacious rooms, beds were really comfortable and in a great location.
Nothing to not like.
