Part of our family checked into the hotel a day earlier and arrived in the early hours of the morning. Although they only checked in after 3:00 AM, we were still charged the full room rate for that night without any concession.

The remaining family members arrived the following morning at around 10:00 AM. We requested an early check-in, subject to room availability. The rooms were available, but the property insisted on charging an additional half-day rate for the early check-in.

As a reasonable alternative, we requested that the arriving family members be allowed to store their luggage and temporarily share the room already occupied by other family members until their own rooms were ready. Unfortunately, the property refused to accommodate this request or offer any practical assistance.

We found this approach to be unfair and excessively focused on extracting additional charges rather than providing basic hospitality. On one hand, the property had no hesitation in charging us the full room rate when our family checked in after 3:00 AM. On the other hand, when we requested a small degree of flexibility for the rest of our family, despite room availability and the fact that we were staying as one family group, the property was unwilling to assist in any way.

The overall impression was that guest comfort and satisfaction were given little consideration, while maximizing revenue appeared to be the primary concern. This experience was particularly disappointing for a family traveling together, including elderly members, and fell well below the level of service we expected.

What stood out most about our stay at Barcelo Casablanca wasn't just the beautiful rooms or excellent facilities, but the people.

After a long journey from Marrakech, being welcomed by Idris at check-in made all the difference. He was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful, handling everything efficiently while making me feel genuinely welcome.

First impressions matter, and he set the tone for a wonderful stay.

The hotel itself offers the perfect balance of comfort and quality. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully appointed, with a wonderfully comfortable bed that guaranteed a great night's sleep.

Every interaction with staff reflected the same high standard of service and attention to detail.

The food was another highlight. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and offered a wide variety of choices, including excellent vegetarian options.

Barcelo Casablanca combines comfort, great cuisine, and exceptional customer service in a way that makes guests feel valued rather than just accommodated.

Special thanks once again to Idris for going above and beyond. I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Casablanca.

Pros:

Staff was wonderful

Cons:

Security - No key required to use the elevator. No lock on room door.
Did not suffer any security incidents but I felt I had to checkout early and relocate to another Hotel and I was still was charged for the full amount of the booking.
The AC was not strong
The furnature have seen better days
Smoking is allowed in the lobby
