Les douches : quoique qu’on fasse, l’eau déborde ; pas pratique d’avoir un 1/2 panneau en verre en guise de porte.

Room was tired, upholstered furniture was stained, worn out and had cigarette burns. Moths in the cupboard in my room and in the lobby of the hotel. Bed was very firm. Air conditioning was very low and adjusting the thermostat did not make a difference. Good buffet Breakfast served in the restaurant in the hotel. Service was poor, booked a pick-up from the airport thru the Barcelo website, no one showed up to pick me up. When I asked the reception, the sales manager advised it was not their problem as they didn't know what flight I was arriving on. They had the request in the system and my email and phone number, nobody took a moment to e-mail for me to confirm the flight arrival info. The atmosphere when you walk into the lobby is absolutely dead. No music, no atmosphere. Lobby furniture is warn out and stained. The price was vey attractive, but know we know why, it is was too good to be true. I ended up only staying one of my six night reservation. The hotel sales manager did offer to upgrade my room, unfortunately that doesn't fix the pest and air conditioning issues.

The hotel is centrally located with horrible service. We waited almost an hour to get our room and it was 430 pm. I had requested low floor well in advance ans I do not take elevators and of course told a higher floor was ready for me. Finally in a low floor room the safe did not work and the room was warm Then at breakfast asked for a coke and charge 5$./50 Diram They told me fifteen Diram No one cares about service at this hotel. Stay AWAY. May other options here in the center of the city. In one night more customer disservice than I could imagine. Others in iour group all complained about the room being warm. I will not patronize hotels that don’t care about the customer.
Very clean and well appointed. The location was excellent. Highly recommend!
