Lage, außergewöhnliche Zimmer, Frühstücksangebot
The pool area, proximity to the beach and rooftop bar area were all nice. Breakfast was great and never felt too crowded.
The reception & bar staff at times were not overly helpful. The answer to almost all of our questions was “no, we can’t do that” or “I don’t know”.
The staff had no recommendations for restaurants in the local area surrounding the hotel.
After checking in to our room, the room smelt strongly of bleach and felt very basic. 5 minutes after getting into our room, 2 members of staff entered the room without knocking much to everyone’s surprise! We received a call from reception to say they hadn’t completed the clean and our room wasn’t ready despite them checking us in. We were asked to vacate the room for it to be finished which we did so, on returning - nothing had changed, just the Balcony door had been left open.
I noticed the staff handing out robes and slippers and asked if we could have some for our room, I was told “no these are for premium rooms only”.
The ‘Spa’ wouldn’t be considered a spa compared to other places we have stayed. The Sauna and Steam room are by booking only - you are given a 30 minute slot but when we booked, the sauna was only turned on at the start of our slot so didn’t warm up in time so was unusable. We asked to book treatments and were told they needed 2 days notice despite emailing ahead of our trip to confirm we could book and were not informed of this.
The gym was too small for more than 2 people to use at once.
Overall I felt the hotel was more of a 3 star than 4 star standard. Basic rooms that sometimes did not feel well cleaned.

An incredible place, a wonderful hotel, a great room, very pleasant staff, especially in the restaurant. Marian is a very kind person and a true professional. The food is delicious, even for those who don't watch their diet it's a masterpiece of original cuisine. I will definitely return to this hotel. Thank you!
