Excellent staff, friendly , value for money and comfortable.
Pros:

Felt comfortable and staff were very friendly.

Good, ideal location for Wye Valley
Pros:

Location, spa, building all very good.

Cons:

No heating in the room, staff said boiler had gone down a few weeks ago.
No fridge in room.
Lighting in the room could be better.
Bath/shower, bottom of bath very slippy, the non slip surface had worn away. Concave shape of the bottom of bath did not help.
Art work in the room was bizarre and disturbing in equal measure.

Visiting for a wedding
Pros:

The grounds are outstanding. Staff are polite & helpful. Beautiful little church in the grounds and a lake. Great breakfast plenty of choice.

Cons:

Poor gluten free choice for dinner in the restaurant. Only 2 hot choices. Breakfast was much better

Pros:

Lovely lakeside balcony view book this one!! The lake and swans were lovely to wake up to, sun gleeking off the lake, breaky on the balcony which is floating in the lake. Amazing time can wait to come back again.

- Espace piscine éloigné

All of the staff were happy, friendly and pleased to help. The location was stunning and the facilities excellent!

The only coffee in the room was a sachet of decaf - minor irritation of having to get up and go and buy one.

A lovely 2 night break and nothing to complain about , enjoyed everything

Excellent hotel in stunning surroundings.
Pros:

The hotel was very comfortable with all facilities under one roof. The spa was first class and the evening meal and breakfast were excellent although service for the evening meal was slow due to another function.

Cons:

The mattress topper was thin and the bed uncomfortable.

Terrible stay and will not stay again

Building I was staying was in need of upgrading rooms were ,
Checked in on Monday evening,
Asked for daily room clean, no hot water on Tuesday morning so had to have a cold shower, got back from work Tuesday evening to find room wasn’t cleaned,

Got back from Wednesday evening to find room still wasn’t cleaned again so went to reception to ask for towels then waited over an hour and had to go back to reception to complain to duty manager who then got me clean towels eventually,

I was due to check out on Friday 13th but as I was so disappointed with the level of service I checked out a day early and booked another hotel in the Chepstow area,
