Absolutely amazing!

The facilities, service, pools, breakfast and the transport service to go down to the village was super convenient. Outdoor spa and indoor spa, both perfect.

The location is stunning. You can enjoy and relax up on the hill but if you feel you wanna have a coffee/lunch/dinner by the sea you just take the shuttle down. They will take you down any time you want. It’s also walkable if you want.

We absolutely loved San Montano. Our holiday was a dream with wonderful staff and service throughout the entire trip. They helped us plan every aspect of our honeymoon in ischia. The facilities pool and thermal baths are truly a dream. We cannot wait to return and stay again this time for longer as we felt four nights was not enough. They provided shuttle services to the beach and to the village which we used frequently. We also had a great experience at the spa, 10/10 massages. The sauna and Turkish bath facilities were some of the nicest we have seen in a hotel. Highly recommend this location as it was quiet yet close to all of the great restaurants on the island. They were also able to recommend many places to eat and activities for us to do. The perfect location for a honeymoon. They also make their own olive oil and have beautiful lemon vineyards throughout.

Wspaniały hotel, od pierwszych minut pobytu czuliśmy się tam bardzo dobrze, personel przywitał nas miło i każdego dnia wszyscy byli bardzo pomocni i przyjaźni. Widok przepiękny, hotel pięknie urządzony w każdym detalu, czyściutko i pachnąco. Otoczenie hotelu bardzo zadbane, bardzo czysto. Śniadanie przepyszne i bardzo duży wybór, owoce i warzywa świeże i smaczne, chleb bardzo smaczny, duży wybór wypieków i słodkości. Restauracje na terenie obiektu oferują smaczne o różnorodne jedzenie. Przepiękne widoki z każdego miejsca w tym hotelu. Transport samochodem do miasta i z powrotem do hotelu jest bardzo wygodny. Ocena na 10 jest według mnie zbyt niska, chętnie dałabym wyższą. Wszystko dopracowane i dobrze przemyślane w każdym szczególe. Czuliśmy się tam bardzo dobrze i chętnie wrócimy do tego hotelu.

San Montano is as close to perfect as a hotel / resort / spa can get.
Staff, facilities, location, restaurants / bars all deserve a score of 11 on a scale of 1-10.
The free shuttle into the local town gives easy access to the immediate area.
Staff seemed to anticipate our needs and just be there at the perfect time. Dinner was outstanding and served with a panoramic view of beautiful Ischia as was breakfast, which offered both à la carte options and a rich buffet.

Beautiful view, amazing pool options, and new towels twice a day. Shuttle to Lacco Ameno and to the beach. Welcome gift of some snacks and water. Breakfast buffet with many options and without the need to go off-site. Comfortable beds and robes. We also did the massage in the lemon grove and it was really nice. It is outdoors, so keep that in mind when booking if you are comfortable with that. It is also shaded to keep the sun off. The massage was very relaxing. There are some ants and such nearby, but they use incense, I think, to smell nice and keep the bugs away. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive.

What a magical stay, such an amazing setting and the staff were incredible. Unbelievable pools and an incredible beach just a short shuttle away. The restaurants on the property were delicious too! Our room was so nice and the balcony overlooking the water was sublime.

We spent three amazing days at San Montano Resort, and every moment was absolutely wonderful. Our room was perfect — spacious, beautifully maintained, and with a balcony overlooking the thermal pools and the breathtaking Bay of Naples. It was the kind of view you never get tired of. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and we both slept so well every night.

Breakfast each morning was an experience in itself. The selection was outstanding — from savory made-to-order egg dishes to flavorful Italian meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, and irresistible pastries. Everything was served in a dining area with a stunning panoramic view, and the service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help — it really set the tone for the day.

The service throughout the resort was truly exceptional. The front desk team went above and beyond to make our stay seamless — from helping us make dinner reservations and arranging taxis to guiding us on how to use the complimentary shuttle to the nearby village. A special thank you to Francesco, who went out of his way to recommend a fantastic restaurant for our last night — a true hidden gem! He not only made the reservation but also arranged our transportation there and back, making the evening completely stress-free. He and his colleagues at the front desk truly exemplify first-class service.

And I can’t say enough about the wonderful and relaxing thermal pools. With the plush terry-cloth robes and flip-flops provided by the resort, the experience was pure bliss — the perfect way to unwind and take in the incredible surroundings.

San Montano Resort exceeded our expectations in every way — from the beautiful setting and relaxing atmosphere to the thoughtful touches and outstanding hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to returning someday.
