Viikkoja aikaisemmin oli varattu illallinen klo 19.00 hotellin kautta. Paikanpäällä selvisi, että ravintola aukeaa vasta klo 20.00. Eräs tarjoilija ei kertonut asiasta kovin fixsusti.

Absolutely everything
I liked everything
Beautiful view, amazing pool options, and new towels twice a day. Shuttle to Lacco Ameno and to the beach. Welcome gift of some snacks and water. Breakfast buffet with many options and without the need to go off-site. Comfortable beds and robes. We also did the massage in the lemon grove and it was really nice. It is outdoors, so keep that in mind when booking if you are comfortable with that. It is also shaded to keep the sun off. The massage was very relaxing. There are some ants and such nearby, but they use incense, I think, to smell nice and keep the bugs away. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive.
The hotel is not close to anything like a bus stop or other destinations. The shuttle goes to Lacco Ameno and San Montano Beach. If you want to go elswehere and explore like the castle, forio, or the mountain Epomeo you will need to shuttle and then bus or taxi. The taxis will add up over time. for example from the port Cassiomicola to the hotel it is about 30 euros. If you want ot explore Ischia I would rent a car or scooter early on because they get booked up. Or, optionally, I would stay somewhere else and then come and stay at San Montano when you are ready to stay put and live in luxury. I also wish the experiences prices were online for us to see. It is kind of a hassle to email to inquire and then have the time difference so the communication is slow, although daily. Also, we ran into when going into the pool they like to set you up with a table and chairs and two twoels each. Sometimes we just wanted to go for a quick swim and didn't need the whole setup but often were asked to wait when picking up towels. We weren't planning to lounge for a few hours just swim for about 30 min. I think there should be a quick option too.
What a magical stay, such an amazing setting and the staff were incredible. Unbelievable pools and an incredible beach just a short shuttle away. The restaurants on the property were delicious too! Our room was so nice and the balcony overlooking the water was sublime.

Nur Kleinigkeiten, in den Zimmern fehlen ein paar Wandhaken im Bad für Handtücher, Bademantel etc., Sofa allerdings sehr unbequem (Suite S10), Frühstück: besser einzelne Scheiben Käse/Schinkenaufschnitt, wird jetzt von den Mitarbeitern abgeschnitten und serviert (viel zu viel), gerne kleine Schüsselchen für Marmelade, mehr Gemüse, weniger Kuchen
We spent three amazing days at San Montano Resort, and every moment was absolutely wonderful. Our room was perfect — spacious, beautifully maintained, and with a balcony overlooking the thermal pools and the breathtaking Bay of Naples. It was the kind of view you never get tired of. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and we both slept so well every night.
Breakfast each morning was an experience in itself. The selection was outstanding — from savory made-to-order egg dishes to flavorful Italian meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, and irresistible pastries. Everything was served in a dining area with a stunning panoramic view, and the service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help — it really set the tone for the day.
The service throughout the resort was truly exceptional. The front desk team went above and beyond to make our stay seamless — from helping us make dinner reservations and arranging taxis to guiding us on how to use the complimentary shuttle to the nearby village. A special thank you to Francesco, who went out of his way to recommend a fantastic restaurant for our last night — a true hidden gem! He not only made the reservation but also arranged our transportation there and back, making the evening completely stress-free. He and his colleagues at the front desk truly exemplify first-class service.
And I can’t say enough about the wonderful and relaxing thermal pools. With the plush terry-cloth robes and flip-flops provided by the resort, the experience was pure bliss — the perfect way to unwind and take in the incredible surroundings.
San Montano Resort exceeded our expectations in every way — from the beautiful setting and relaxing atmosphere to the thoughtful touches and outstanding hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to returning someday.
We spent weeks traveling along the Amalfi coast and this was the most relaxing stay we had. The pools alone were beautiful but never crowded and relaxing. The shuttle into town was very easy and convenient. Breakfast was very good and staff were friendly.
We went to the San Montano Resort after traveling to 3 major cities in Italy. We were looking to relax before returning home, and this turned out to be the perfect place. The staff was attentive and friendly. There are a few people I would like to mention. Antonio at the pool was always there for whatever we needed. Also, we had a couple's massage booked by Antonietta and serviced by Grazia and Giovanni. One of the best, if not the best experiences we have had at a spa. The resort is a bit pricey, and the evening meal in the dining room was a little too fancy for us. We like good quality basic food. But this did not stop us from thoroughly enjoying our stay.
