Taj Ganges Varanasi

Amazing chai and overall service by the staff and specifically Vishal during our stay at Taj Ganges. Would highly recommend him for outstanding service. Definitely will make us choose Taj Ganges for our stay again. Our complete stay was made very comfortable by Taj and its staff!

All the facilities and services provided by the hotel were excellent. The staff were highly efficient, professional, and made guests feel truly at home.

I would especially like to mention Animesh, Divyadeep, Utkarsh, and Yatika, who were exceptional in their hospitality. They took great care of me throughout my stay and ensured that I was comfortable and had an enjoyable experience.

Their dedication and warmth made my stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Taj Ganges Varanasi has to be one of the worst Taj properties I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. Being a long time Taj loyalist I can confirm that the same is at best a two star hotel and the amount they charge for this ancient hotel is not just exorbitant but outright crazy. I would easily advise anyone to stay at Ramada for half the price and not go for the Taj tag.

Be it hospitality, service or professionalism. Hotel staff lacked basic courtesy and etiquette. Starting from the check in which took forever to check in considering that we had a baby. Rooms were extremely tiny and dated overlooking a construction site. The first room allotted to us was tiny,dated and overlooked a wall, After expressing our disappointment, the second room offered to us was no better. The same was extremely small and overlooked a construction site. We were also never informed about the ongoing construction at the hotel which one would normally expect from a hotel like Taj. Buffet spread although decent was placed in an old basement like area with no windows. The only saving grace was prompt service by Ms Pal and one Mr _____deep serving us on two different dates.

Housekeeping came to make the bed and forgot to clean the floor each time. No one responded on the intercom and we had to step down each time to get our requests answered. The socket at the bathroom could not be used for my hair straightener as the old blow dryer refused to come out and there was no housekeeping to help us with the same.

Very good stay. Satisfied fully.

Loved the room,food , service n everything ,Breakfast was excellent n well attended by Chief Lakshya over there.

Our stay at Taj Ganges, Varanasi was truly memorable, and Chef Lakshya played a big part in it. His warm smile, positive energy, and genuine care made every interaction delightful. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after.

We have always been a fan of Taj and every stay reminds us why. The property is beautiful and offers so much peace in the middle of the hustle that is Varanasi.
Special mention to the housekeeping team who were efficient and caring to the core and the food and beverage team who took such good care of our requirements.
I would especially applaud Mr Vijay who served us with a smile and promptness that never took away from the fact that he's specially abled. The managers were at the top of their game managing everything seamlessly. The team is so cohesive and in sync that the whole experience is worthwhile.
