Taj Ganges Varanasi

It was a lovely experience staying here. The staff, especially Muskan, Roshan, and Tanu, were very kind and helpful throughout. The local flavors special touch to our visit.

The highlight of my stay at Taj Ganges Varanasi was the outstanding hospitality. Muskan, Roshan, and Tanu ensured everything was perfect and made us feel truly welcomed. Also, the authentic kachori bhaji and thandai were delicious and a must-try.

Disappointed is an understatement with this hotel

Had 3 nights here Arrived very late noticed a damp type smell but we were up at 0500 for trip then out and about all day on trips. So again when got back room noticed smell again once getting out of lift on floor (room 226) so requesting a move would probably not solve it we thought.

The room felt damp also with paperwork we had in the safe becoming damp!

The food choice was limited compared to the other hotels we stayed in. One night shown to a used table had to ask for cutlery. Very poor service as didn’t bring fresh bottle of water, when we asked for fresh one got an expression of oh you want another bottle even when we said was already opened. Ordered 2 cokes when they did come no glasses provided for them just very poor service and attitude.

Had lunch one day Pune was very helpful getting us a table and Vishal was excellent and super friendly these two were the highlight of a very poor stay.

Upon checkout asked if everything ok when told them about the smelly room was met with a curt sorry which felt dusgenuine.

I am not usually critical easily of hotels etc but this time is warranted as very poor experience.

I am writing to share my spectacular experience of family at the J Wellness Spa during my recent visit to the Taj Hotel. The location of your property provides a perfect oasis in Varanasi, and their time at the spa was nothing short of exceptional.

From the moment they walked in, the atmosphere was incredibly serene. The noise level was perfectly tranquil, completely blocking out the outside world and allowing for deep relaxation. They were highly impressed by the impeccable cleanliness maintained throughout the facility, from the reception area to the private treatment rooms, which were beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. Furthermore, the amenities provided were top-tier and added a great deal of luxury to the overall visit.

While the facilities are wonderful, it was the outstanding service that truly set this visit apart. I want to specifically highlight Nitin for his extended support, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine warmth. He went out of his way to ensure everything was completely comfortable and well taken care of.

Because of Nitin’s hospitality and the high standards of the spa, the overall value of the experience was absolutely fantastic. Team members like him are exactly what makes Taj hospitality so legendary.

Really loved my time at Taj Ganges, Varanasi! The garden is absolutely beautiful and the swimming pool area is so calm and relaxing—perfect for unwinding.

Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen und hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Gartenanlage mit Pool lädt zum verweilen ein. Die beiden Restaurants sowie die Bar boten ein gutes Angebot, dabei waren die Speisen aus der Küche lecker. Hervorzuheben ist der außergewöhnlich gute Service, der durch beste Verfügbarkeit und Freundlichkeit zu überzeugen wusste. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt durchweg genossen!

Taj Ganges Varanasi provides impeccable first class service in hospitality. Every space throughout the hotel is clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Large bouquets of fresh flowers adorned the lobby. The food provided at the in house restaurant, "Chowk", is fantastic. We ate at the buffet thrice per day. We utilized the spa, and highly recommend their Ayurvedic massage therapist. Dry cleaning and laundry services are excellent. Most importantly, EVERY member of the staff is courteous, kind and helpful. We were grateful to be located some distance away from the hustle/bustle, traffic and chaos which you find closer to the ghats. We highly recommend this hotel (and franchise), and won't hesitate to return.

We had the lovely experience of having Vishal as our waiter thismorning at the Taj Varanessi breakfast. Whilst hearing impaired, he was a most attentive, professional and entertaining waitstaff. A wonderful addition to his team.

The Taj Ganges was one of the hotels I stayed at with a recent tour of India with Road Scholar. The food was great. My room was clean. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Special shout out to "Praveen" who is the gentleman that cleaned my room and made sure my laundry was done safely. He went above and beyond giving my room touches of home that included putting some fresh flowers in my room. My only complaint is that the shower could have drained a bit better, but that was a minimal problem.
While I didn't make it in to the pool, many of my trip mates did and said it was lovely. I did sit by the pool, that was perfect.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our Darshan to Kashi was divine.comfortable and well managed. Ms Pal, Roshan, and Tanu offered warm service.they offered local food.which I love most.Aayush handled the front desk smoothly. Food was elicious, housekeeping neat, ambience soothing.

Check-in process take a bit long time but after the check-in our experience was so incredible. In restuarant muskan served us and my baby . She is so nice with my kid. And I love the food and most the I love the garden area.its so beautiful.
