Taj Ganges Varanasi

We were at this hotel for 3 nights for a family trip to Varanasi in the July of. 2026 and we can't say enough around the awesomeness wholesome experience.
A succinct abstract of the Experience - Is Simply Marvelous and unmatched- And this is coming from a kind of World Traveler with vivid experiences of the places and the stays. Whatever they do - they just marvel it and that includes the most important parts of any stay - The Experience, The People, The Food and the Service.
Shout Outs - The special shout out begins right from the Font Desk with Jenny, Neena , Sukriti - Everything that they do to help you is professional, original, sweet and is tagged with that personal touch - 3 of you - Hope I am pronouncing the names correctly , You Rock and wish you all the success in your professional careers,
Coming to the thier Floor Manage (I thought so) Asif - He is someone who knows the the originality of Varanasi and explains a simple and one of their in-house restaurants "Varuna" speciality with a story that leaves a mark of what Varanasi stands for - The beauty of Unity and inclusiveness in the Diversity.
Food : We just tried Varuna - And being the Vegetarian family - it was a pure delight . Everything was just perfect and amazing and by the way there is a sweet story of how the meal is prepared here - Simple, authentic and a 5 Star Experience. The breakfast served in the AM was a delight - That Cappuccino - Ahh!!
And last but not the least that Flute Player in the AM - Greatness in that Simplicity - You will sit for hours to listen to him and admire that mastery stitched in that simplicity. He is the one to keep, admire and reward.

This year I stayed at the Taj Ganges Varanasi. The stay was wonderfully curated and made special for us by the hotel staff and management. Some staff who made our stay special were Supriti at the front desk, all the staff of house keeping specially Tirath and Bankelal and all the staff at the Chowk including Ashis, Jayanti, Rajiv and Angelina at the Chowk made our stay very special. The food and hospitality was awesome.

Had a wonderful stay at Taj Ganges, Varanasi. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and offers excellent hospitality. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the overall service was warm and professional.

A special mention to Mr. Deepak for his outstanding service and attention to detail. He was courteous, helpful, and always made sure everything was taken care of. His warm and welcoming attitude truly made our experience even more memorable.

Overall, an excellent experience at Taj Ganges. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varanasi! 🌟

I had a wonderful experience at Taj Ganges, Varanasi. The hospitality was warm, attentive, and truly reflective of the Taj standard.
A special mention to Saraswati, whose service was exceptional. She was extremely responsive, courteous, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile. Her attentiveness and thoughtful approach made the entire experience even more comfortable and memorable.

This place is just for politicians. This place has only VIP protocol and not taking care of other people.

Taj is so consistent in their warmth and hospitality, no other brand matches up! Love coming back to Taj wherever we stay. A big shout out for also your inclusive ways at work. And to Vishal, our server at Chowk, who is super at what he does, carrying his responsibilities with ease and a smile.

Stellar service from every member of the staff—exactly what one would expect from the Taj brand. The warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay truly exceptional.

A special mention goes to Mr. Vishal, our differently abled server, whose attentiveness, efficiency, and prompt response to every request were truly commendable.

Our heartfelt gratitude also to Ms. Supriti at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special and truly memorable. Her kindness and thoughtful hospitality left a lasting impression.

Stayed here a couple of days. New block rooms are spacious with bay windows, and with moedern design. Restaurant is good with both Indian and continental options. We missed the standard taj welcome with drink and garland and bindi on forhead. Reception seemed to be un organised to handle 3-4 clients together. Hotel is about 5KM away from Dham area. You can get any kind of transporation from here easily.

Excellent comfortable stay. Staff is very helpful from reception to all managers.
Will recommend to friends and family and come again.
