My stay at Taj Ganges, Varanasi was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, every member of the team went above and beyond to make me feel genuinely welcomed. The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable, and the warmth of the hospitality truly reflects everything the Taj brand stands for.

This trip was especially meaningful as I was celebrating my birthday, and the team made it even more memorable by beautifully decorating my room and surprising me with thoughtful treats, including fresh fruits, cookies, delicious handcrafted chocolates, desserts, and a heartfelt handwritten note. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made me feel incredibly special, and it's these little personal touches that transformed a wonderful stay into one I'll always remember.

A very special mention to Mr. Aftab Ali, whose professionalism left a lasting impression even before I arrived. I had to call the hotel several times prior to my stay, and while many calls unfortunately went unanswered or promised callbacks never came, Mr. Aftab Ali was the one person who not only assured me he would get back to me—but actually did. His reliability and commitment to guest service immediately instilled confidence and set the tone for the wonderful experience that followed.

My heartfelt thanks to Shrishti for such a warm, patient, and seamless check-in experience. She made me feel at home from the very first moment.

Ayush was equally wonderful, helping me with my luggage and sharing thoughtful local recommendations that truly enriched my visit to Varanasi.

I'd also like to sincerely thank Supriti, Yatika, Padmini, Vishal Nigam, Utkarsh, and Akhilesh for their kindness, warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. Every interaction with the staff, no matter how small, was met with a smile and a willingness to help.

Our time at the Taj Ganges was wonderful. We were greeted by Aftab Ali Orawala and he made sure we were taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. At first I wondered why we were being treated so well and then I realized that it is just the way guests are treated at the Taj Ganges. When we were brought to our room there was fresh fruit waiting for us, (we actually received fresh fruit every day!) and later Aftab brought us an assortment of delicious Indian deserts. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A perfect place to wind down after a busy day in Varanasi. The breakfast was delicious and oh my gosh, the spa was so incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful as well.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and actually can’t wait to go back!
