Location , as a kid we would drive past and I always wanted to stay here. Maybe 44years after I left Masterton- but finally did it
Potholes accessing where we were to park. Would have loved to have had porridge on the menu too lol
But the food was Devine

The pool facilities were brilliant. Nice spacious rooms with friendly helpful staff
Room was a bit cold
The indoor heated swimming pool and spa were a hit with my teenager after travelling for nearly 6hrs, was good it didn't close until 10pm.
Also had a squash court, and reasonable looking gym that we didn't use but was being used while we were there. You can watch the squash from the pool area.
Able to park right outside our room so was easy to get stuff from the car and leave in the morning.
Comfy beds, nice and tidy, as we expected.
Didn't use the restaurant as it was so expensive.
The room was very comfortable and very clean with big beds. Everything was provided and the staff were great. Special shout out to the very helpful guy at the bar! We had 3 nights there for a family event and we found it so comfortable to spend time downstairs eating and watching TV in the bar.
The location is a bit out of the town so not possible to walk to the shops. The hotel is looking a little tired and could do with a spruce up.

There was no assistant at reception when I arrived so it took longer than expected to check in.
