Avila Lighthouse Suites

The rooms are very nice. The location is perfect…walking distance to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. It was nice to have breakfast right downstairs. Overall a great experience.

We had a wonderful time at the Lighthouse Suites at Avila Beach. The accommodations are located at a great place with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. We enjoyed our hike along the Bob Jones trail and with less than a 10 minute drive to fantastic hiking trails. We made a trip to Morro Bay and Cambria with the Lighthouse Suites at Avila Beach as our “home base”. The staff were friendly and our room was very clean. Breakfast was also a great perk before venturing out. However, the grounds are very inviting and staying at the resort is a great way to enjoy and unwind. Until next time!

Avila Beach is a quaint little place and the Lighthouse Suites are very nice. There is no restaurant or a bar on the property (just a breakfast galley) but there are food establishments within a block or two. Many choices if you want to drive a few miles. The rooms are quite large with either two beds or one bed and a pull out sofa in the "living room". I thought the hotel was quite clean and quiet. Every room has a balcony. If you needed anything, they were johnny on the spot. The off season room rates were not any higher that most other hotels, but they get steeper as the warmer months approach. We stayed 3 nights and that was just perfect. There are some really nice surrounding fun spots in that general area.

Had a lovely stay at Avila Lighthouse Suites- the location is perfect! I was able to access the BobJones trail and the beach as well as the whole cute little town! Oh, and the cute little Aquariam. So lovely ! Lots of walking and looking at dogs, birds and people😀 The close proximity of restaurants was also nice- Blue Moon over Avila has wonderful wine and charcuterie as well as French onion soup- the view from the outside seating is amazing. Custom House has amazing clam chowder and fish and chips. The pool and hot tub at Lighthouse were also perfect to unwind . Highly recommend for a great and relaxing vacation.

Great spot for a getaway. Walking distance to everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Comfortable rooms, patio seating was definitely a plus with amazing views.

From the first step in the lobby, very pleasant reception from the host. Beautiful lobby. The hotel seats at a perfect location in Avila Beach. Our room was spectacular! We had a very nice ocean view. It was very clean, neat & fresh. I would definitely go back. We had a very pleasant time. Thank you Avila Lighthouse Suites.

I rate Lighthouse Suites 5 out of 5! My phone cuts off the other “circle” for excellent. There were some minor glitches that were resolved satisfactorily thanks to the excellent staff! Housekeeping, front desk, ground maintenance….the friendliness, most courteous bunch around. The guest services manager, Laura Manning, is a real gem. Fabulous view, pool and hot tub. Full breakfast. Steps to the sea. We have stayed here for many years and have every intention of staying again. DON’T pass this up!

Poland hot tub were great. Beach right there was fantastic. Putout golf…room was comfortable with ocean wave sound at night. Just a great hotel!

Amazing!! Sparkling clean rooms. Thank you Laura, Maria, Katie and Tina, you all gave beautiful smiles and a warm welcome at check in. As a person who values customer service, I will gladly stay here in the future. Breakfast was great, too! Red chiliquiles were soooo good!! Kudos to the galley staff and housekeeping, too.

We had our inaugural women’s retreat, and the accommodations were wonderful. My room was top notch, clean, and spacious. Oh yeah that view was amazing.

This place is a hidden gem! After a few nights at a crappy hotel in pismo we stumbled across Avila beach on our hunt for tide pools to explore. Laura at the front desk made an improptu extra night at this beautiful beachfront hotel possible. She was so friendly and accommodating and went out of her way to make us happy ❤️ we could hear the ocean all night and even in mid July the weather was gorgeous and we were able to sit all day on the beach. Such a cute town…we will absolutely be back and will stay at Lighthouse again :)

Avila beach is the best place to visit near the ocean. Avila Lighthouse was the best hotel o have ever stayed with my family. Nice, great breakfast, close to beach and restaraunts, and great staff. Best vacation I have ever had .

We hadn't been to Avila Beach previously. Pleasantly surprised how nice the area was.
