We had a wonderful time!
Pros:

The room was nice and clean. We were actually there for our 20th anniversary, I wish the hotel prepared something nice in the room 😀. Oh well!

Cons:

Where our room was located, it was a bit noisy, there was a wedding one evening, people gathered early in the morning around from the beach and at the park.

Staying at Avila Beach House is our summer family tradition.
Pros:

The location is fabulous, just steps from the beach, the rooms are beautifully decorated with super comfortable beds & pillows. The pool and spa are clean and tidy. The hotel offers great amenities, roasting S’mores around the fire pits was a holiday highlight for our 4 year old son, and the free chocolate chip cookies are a lovely touch. We love our annual family summer holiday to Avila.

We had a good time.
Pros:

I liked the location, the cleanliness, breakfast, and amenities.

Cons:

My husband and I didn’t know about how to adjust the AC and there were no instructions on how to do it, also the microwave had a child’s lock system and for both problems we had to ask for help.

We had 14 family members (3 rooms). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
Pros:

Everything - From checking in to any needs, the staff was terrific. I believe Katie checked us in. She was absolutely wonderful. (I am really bad remembering names so I'm sorry if I got her name wrong). She even remembered me when I came back into the lobby. This was our second visit and I again noticed how kind, helpful and spot on the staff at breakfast are. The staff taking care of the rooms are also very helpful. Love the remodel.

Cons:

We did have problems with the key cards getting into the pool area. I noticed others had the same issue. Other than that....alll good.

Pros:

Location at the beach, property was clean, breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Property had construction everyday noise from sanders grinding concrete throughout property, was never informed construction was on going. Room not cleaned one day had to call at 4:45pm, desk stated you must have had a do not disturb sign out, we did not, we were gone all day from the property. They did respond and freshen up the room, but we had to leave delaying getting ready for dinner.

Our yearly “before school starts trip”
Pros:

The place is well ran and cozy. Perfect for couples and families. It has the best location in Avila Beach for beachside activities and shopping as well.

One week of fun, family and sun!’
Pros:

Everything was great until the last Teo days when the resort was undergoing some renovations and the resort was basically cordoned off in a lot of areas. Unfortunate but I guess it needed to be done. The resort should have offered some discount for the inconvenience. I believe they will eventually do so. Thank you.
