Everything. Location, room, bed, linens! Everything was superb!

We had a beachfront room, it was well appointed. the staff from reception to housecleaning were friendly and helpful if needed. Morning breakfast was great, the real thing, not boxed cereal or stale donuts!
We will definitely return.

We only spent one night in Avila. We were coming from Morro Bay and Paso Robles after a few days of wine tasting. It was beautiful summer weather in March. Our room had a great view and the hotel is right on the water. It came with complementary breakfast, which was decent. The hotel is very centrally located and we just walked to dinner in the evening. We’ve stayed in several places on the central coast but this was the first time in Avila Beach. We really enjoyed our time and our stay at this hotel and we will probably be back. The only somewhat negative was that it did seem a little pricey, for what it was compared to other hotels of the same or similar price.

Beautiful room and living room! Very clean!! Walking distance to pier, restaurant and bar. Quiet and less traffic during Wed. through Friday booking.

The hotel is in a prime location right on the beach. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and all the beach amenities (umbrellas, chairs, beach toys, etc.). The room was fairly clean but could have been better. We were disappointed that the A/C did not work, especially during such a hot weekend. We had someone from maintenance check it out, and he basically said it was a new system, and there was nothing he could do, and that it was working to its fullest potential. Our room never cooled down below 72 degrees the entire time, it stayed between 72-74 degrees. I sure hope they get a better system in place before summer hits!

We always have an amazing time when we stay here. The amazing staff, the beautiful views and great amenities keep us coming back.

We spent a beautiful weekend in Avila Beach at the Avila lighthouse suites! The property was very well kept, clean, inviting, and the staff is exceptional. The past few years we have had a vacation rental, but we all agreed that this is where we would return next year.

The most Beautiful Beach with sunny weather, Pirates Cove and Lighthouse Tours. The Staff was amazing and I would like to include a special thanks to Katie, Natalie and Laura 🌊 We will be back soon! 💙

The rooms are very nice. The location is perfect…walking distance to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. It was nice to have breakfast right downstairs. Overall a great experience.

We had a wonderful time at the Lighthouse Suites at Avila Beach. The accommodations are located at a great place with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. We enjoyed our hike along the Bob Jones trail and with less than a 10 minute drive to fantastic hiking trails. We made a trip to Morro Bay and Cambria with the Lighthouse Suites at Avila Beach as our “home base”. The staff were friendly and our room was very clean. Breakfast was also a great perk before venturing out. However, the grounds are very inviting and staying at the resort is a great way to enjoy and unwind. Until next time!

Avila Beach is a quaint little place and the Lighthouse Suites are very nice. There is no restaurant or a bar on the property (just a breakfast galley) but there are food establishments within a block or two. Many choices if you want to drive a few miles. The rooms are quite large with either two beds or one bed and a pull out sofa in the "living room". I thought the hotel was quite clean and quiet. Every room has a balcony. If you needed anything, they were johnny on the spot. The off season room rates were not any higher that most other hotels, but they get steeper as the warmer months approach. We stayed 3 nights and that was just perfect. There are some really nice surrounding fun spots in that general area.

Had a lovely stay at Avila Lighthouse Suites- the location is perfect! I was able to access the BobJones trail and the beach as well as the whole cute little town! Oh, and the cute little Aquariam. So lovely ! Lots of walking and looking at dogs, birds and people😀 The close proximity of restaurants was also nice- Blue Moon over Avila has wonderful wine and charcuterie as well as French onion soup- the view from the outside seating is amazing. Custom House has amazing clam chowder and fish and chips. The pool and hot tub at Lighthouse were also perfect to unwind . Highly recommend for a great and relaxing vacation.
