Pros:

Готель розташований у затишному місці, багато зелені та місць для відпочинку. Готель відноситься до мережі готелей Valamar, є можливість відвідувати всі місця у готелях: відкриті та закриті басейни зі зручними шезлонгами, горками та кафе; спа салон; велику дитячу зону для розваг. Кожного вечора в отелі розважальні програми, можна відпочивати з пляшанкою вина чи коктейлями, їх продають тут же в барі. Сніданки та вечері з великим асортиментом та на різні смаки, багато випічки, фруктів. Номери прибирають кожного дня, білизну та рушники змінюють. Меблі нові, кроваті зручні. Персонал дуже приємний.
До моря йти хвилин 5, з моря треба підніматись під гору, тому це займає гараздо більше часу. Пляж невеликий, є шезлонги з зонтами, кафе. Берег камʼяний, є морські їжаки на великих каменях, тому бажано мати спеціальні тапки. Вода чиста, плаває багато риби, заходити в море зручно та мілко.

Cons:

Сподобалось все. Тільки сніданки однообразні, хоча і є вибір продуктів (яйця, ковбаси, овочі свіжі, мариновані та грильовані, сири, молочна продукція, солодка випічка), але під кінець відпочинку вже все стало набридати.

Pros:

The vibe of the hotel was great. It was modern but with a Mediterranean feel which made it warm and welcoming. The food selection was great and the facilities for children were outstanding.

Cons:

There were a few inconsistencies with the room cleans during the week and there were a few occasions where room service trays and glasses from other rooms were left out for several hours. I have raised this in the feedback to the hotel though.

An amazing place to visit with kids
Pros:

The staff were really friendly and helpful (advice on getting buses into town and accommodating late check out) and the kids club was fantastic. Lovely pool area with toddler pool and slides for bigger kids.

Cons:

The shopping parade area and main courtyard are a bit tired and run down.

Quarto muito confortável e o hotel é bem localizado e próximo da cidade velha. O café da manhã bem diversificado. Criança adorou o Maro World. Não queria sair de lá.

Cons:

O check out precisa ser feito até as 10 da manhã. Estenderam até as 11 e permitem usar a estrutura do hotel. Poderiam estender até o meio dia.

fantastic family-friendly destination
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay and were genuinely impressed by the accommodation and facilities. Everything was extremely clean, well maintained and thoughtfully designed for kids. The resort is truly perfect for families with young children, far beyond our expectations. The Maro playground and activities were absolutely AMAZING and became a highlight of the trip for our kids. Close to the beach, bus to Dubrovnik old town and very nice pool area. Very pet friendly hotel as well.

The buffet was also excellent, with a great variety of food and everything presented fresh and hygienically. Throughout the entire resort, cleanliness and attention to detail really stood out.

Overall, this was a fantastic family-friendly destination that we would happily recommend to others.

Cons:

The transfer from the airport to the hotel unfortunately did not go as smoothly as we had hoped. We would have appreciated more proactive follow-up and support from the hotel regarding the situation. Especially with children, the waiting time was difficult. A small gesture for the inconvenience for example something thoughtful for the children, such as a small toy or teddy bear, or a partial reimbursement of the transport costs would have made a big difference in how we experienced this situation.

Fortunately, Denice from Valamar customer service handled the matter very well and was understanding and helpful throughout (fantastic service!!) Unfortunately, the reception staff at the hotel gave us the feeling that the situation was our mistake (as it was not) rather than something they were willing to help resolve.

Please consider making the hotel completely smoke-free, especially with children and families in mind.
