Belver Boa Vista Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

Staff work incredibly hard to make guests as comfortable as possible, very clean hotel, we had a top floor room with amazing views.

Between the all-day jackhammering onroadwork outside, the intermittant power outages, or the fact they tried to give us a room below what i had paid for, I would not recommend this as a place to stay at this time.

The air conditioning was not very good in the hotel and in our room and the construction behind the hotel was very annoying.

The hotel was located close to old town which was convenient.

The building and rooms require updating. Air con didn’t work, you can also see they were trying to cover up damp within the room. Construction was taking place outside which could at times be very loud. View of the ocean from the balcony was absolutely stunning.

Breakfast was ok but the same option was given every day.

Upon arrival reception staff was very miserable and we didn’t feel welcomed by staff overall.

Not sure whether I would stay there again.

They do have some eye catching and amazing pieces of furniture around the hotel

It began with the uncomfortable smell on arrival.
No air conditioning despite it saying there was. A fan was provided on day two but just blew hot air around.

The location and view from the property were amazing but we eventually had to leave the property because the entire building did not have air conditioning and we were not informed during our check in. This caused an inconvenience which we had to find another hotel in the area that could had 4 rooms available since we were traveling with a large group. However it is important to note that the gentleman at the front desk, George did everything possible to ensure we received a full refund. He was clearly embarrassed for the situation beyond his control

Negatives were road works right outside and air con not working. First room allocated was not good but moved to a much better room.
Positives were staff, cleanliness, views, location.

I know its not the properties fault but the construction right next door was unbearable. We had a lovely deck we could not use because the hammering started at 7:30 am and went to sometimes 6;30pm . Otherwise enjoyed everything else

If you like the sound of construction all day, absolutely no air conditioning (false promises that “today it will be fixed, promise!”, and enjoy finding cockroaches along every path, even in the building, and not to mention, constant doors slamming in the halls, sleepless nights, and lastly the constant stench of moisture and mold - then this is the place for you!

Apart from faulty aircon, everything was perfect!

We had no air conditioning and the fridge didn’t work. We asked for a double bed and was given two single beds. We complained about not having air conditioning and was given a fan. The fan was very noisy, it sounded like a washing machine all day and night. Was not offered any upgrade or apology for the inconvenience. Was not even asked how was our stay was. Seemed bothered by me telling him my complaints at the end.

The AC didn't work in our room. We could change the room for the second night but the first night wasn't really terrible, could not sleep because it was so hot and the bad was super noisy when you moved. We asked for late check out in reception but get a straight no. The person in the reception didn't even askt for our room number to check if it's possible. The whole hotel is pretty old and needs some renovation. The pool was cleaned one day to 10.15am and it wasn't possible to use it even if it supposed to be open from 9.00am

Good hotel at a great location close to all Albufeira attractions. The staff was very kind and welcoming.
Property is aging and needs an update. They gave us a room where the air conditioner was not working and had one double bed(we had asked for 2 bed). The staff was kind and gave us a nicer room on the next day. (Thank you)

Great view and breakfast

The bad: The room was poorly laid out with the toilet and bidet on one side of the room and the shower and tub on the other. The furniture was shabby and worn. The lower level hallway that led to the tiny, uninspired bar apparently doubled as a storage closet, where rows of chairs were stacked and lined the area directly upon leaving the elevator.
The good: There's a huge balcony with very pretty views of the sea.
The impressive: the spread they put out for the complimentary breakfast is extensive; although that too was poorly laid out with a large wall divided the buffet, with 75% in one room and behind a wall the other 25%.

Amazing view, room nice but the outside noise was a little bit too much in the morning

Very dated rooms staff were great but it needs modernisation pool not the best food excellent shower did not work fridge was intermittent very disappointing at the price I paid also could not book in until 4pm so wasted afternoon sitting by the pool as could not get changed

Stayed at the hotel Thursday to sunday cost £485 which isn't cheap by any means hotel is well dated and old fashioned needs a major refurbished all over the photos on line are nothing like what i seen at the hotel the decking around the pool is shambolic paint work is flakeing away the steps into the pool are dangerous and far to steep if you are a elderly person + work was been carried outside the hotel big digger machine breaking out concrete all day wasn't informed whilst we were checking in about work being done out side hotel rooms i stayed on level 2 room was ok single bed and breakfast was a 2/10 wouldn't stop there again to expensive for what is
