Cleanliness
5
Multiple reports of poor cleanliness: dust, not cleaned under the bed, towels not changed, dusty remote and dirty coffee cups; isolated reports of sewage smell in the bathroom.
Service
8.5
Generally described as friendly and helpful staff and reception (assisted with meal orders); a few issues noted such as housekeeping attempting to enter occupied rooms and occasional language barriers.
Location
8.5
Convenient location with public transport directly in front, good for Rheinradweg cyclists and parking access; some street noise when windows are open.
Room Quality
6.5
Mixed room quality: some rooms and family room praised, but others have very hard beds, no air conditioning, occasional clogged shower drain and smells, aging fixtures and non-working TV or noisy fans.
Amenities
7.5
Strong breakfast offering, beer garden and parking for large vehicles are positives; negatives include lack of air conditioning in rooms, elevator outages, missing small items (e.g., slippers) and some worn facilities.
Value for Money
6.5
Mixed perception: acceptable for a one-night stay for some, but others felt the hotel did not meet expectations for the price (including disputes about charged breakfasts after early departure).
Food and Beverage
8.5
Consistently praised: very rich and varied breakfast buffet, spacious comfortable dining area; reception also helped with ordering meals to enjoy on the terrace.
Overall Experience
7.4
Overall mixed but leaning positive: friendly service, good breakfast and convenient location offset by cleanliness issues, lack of AC and some aging or malfunctioning room features.

Cons:

One thing I was disappointed with was the bed, which consisted of two separate beds that kept sliding apart, making it uncomfortable to sleep in. The hotel description did not mention this, so I was expecting one large double bed. I believe this should be clearly stated in the room description to avoid misleading guests and causing disappointment.
